MHSSC seems like a pretty cool place with a core group of people who love it like a home, which is sick as hell. When I was at Hood, I skied down to Palmer or the bottom a few times a day, and always looked down and admired the MHSSC park for how creative and fun it looked, rope tows or not.
In the lodge this year, I started my morning by meeting my Windells coach at a spot very close to a MHSSC group. I was pretty bummed that a lot of those kids pretty much acted like pricks around and to a lot of the Windells kids, clearly making an effort for themselves to be heard by the same people they were talking to or about. That definitely set a bar pretty low for how those kids represented for MHSSC, but whatever.
I've still got love for the place even though I've never even been. It definitely seems like the camp without the extra frills and fuss. Fun looking camp.
