Official MHSSC thread

Must have been quite a while ago. I don't know this story nor do you look at all familiar.

Ok so I was camper staff for a week last year but it was a bit of an on the spot kind of deal. basically i just got there and wanted to stay longer without paying, and they let me. super chill. anyway, I was just wondering when / how to reapply for the upcoming summer. (2014)

I still can't get over how bootleg their website it. It's hilarious hahaha. Foreal though, MHSSC is awesome if I haven't said that enough.

CAMPERS, if you decide to go to MHSSC, be sure to avoid Patrick Foster at all costs. He is a creepy dude that lives in a van down by the river. He preys on young racer girls and claims he is a coach when he is really not so he can slay the young fresh poo-tang

Dick...

If you're looking to work, just send them an email. Oh and the site is being rebuilt right now, actually.

many a good memories. Every year when summer rolls around I sit back and think about all the great fucking times that were had.

i had a pretty mediocre time there. The food was awesome, the coaches were good, and the tramp was fun. But there was definitly some dicks who gave me shit for my skill. i made a couple freinds who i still have today but a lot of the people there were dicks. it also sucks having to hike all the time without a rope tow. The guys in my cabin also were talking about masturbating and how they were all getting unwanted boners until like 2:00 in the morning which is fuckin weird.

Anyone planning on going this year? I'm gonna do 2 weeks to redeem myself after breaking my leg on the first day last year and breaking my arm this year and missing the rest of the winter season. I really need to reign in my recklessness until I have tricks dialed in 100%.

Really considering going this summer, but need to improve my grades. Whats the latest I could possibly sign up? And would it be worth going to learn park as a whole? I ski big mountain for the most part, and can't ski park at all, but really want to learn.

I could be wrong, but I believe you have to sign up one month before you go, and the latest session starts august 17th so the very latest to sign up is july 17th.

Definitely don't injure yourself the first day this time haha. I'll be there starting sesh 4.

I want to go back SOOOOOOOOOOO bad now that i'm a lot better than last year, but my family can't afford :[

Got the official word yesterday: I'll be there 4-14. Going big this year. Snowpack is back to normal too, so if we can avoid another early hot spell like last year's, it should be way sicker.

Care to elaborate? I find it hard to believe anybody could have a bad time skiing in the summer unless they got injured

Sounds like someone wasn't doing their job. I'm sorry about that. Generally, we squash any hating that might be going on. I always tell my kids to come to me if they're not stoked about something. Next time, talk to me or Mike and Lynne.

mhssc is the shit, the coaches will actually pay attention to what youre doing and try to help. Im working kitchen staff session 3-12 so I'll be seein you if youre going

whoops should have posted in here, how long with the lifts be running this year?

Labor Day weekend is usually the end of summer operations, even on shitty snow years, and we're actually looking pretty good right now. Might actually be above average snowpack after the precip this week.

Sorry I should have phrased that question better... how long will mhssc be lift accessible? i read in the windells v mhssc that you have to hike the park after a certain point. I wouldn't mind hiking but i would prefer the park being lift accessible.

Once the cat track that connects the bottom of our park and Windell's park to the public park melts out, then you have to hike back to the top of our park to get out. When that happens is impossible to predict at this point.

Most likely your own doing. I probably was a camper here longer than anyone every. If it was the "people" then you didn't try to be friends with kids. If you didn't like the actual camp part I'm not sure what to tell you. The only downside of mhssc is hiking.
