I was about to say that I hope this isn't the last of it for Mick, but he just got himself into second. P Gudauskas is going insane right now.

Im guessing they will be at main break tommorow.

Tho would like to see the guys sink their teeth into the box.

Just had a fun morning sesh until the winds got on it. First time it's actually warm here, 65F or so. Stepped down to a 4/3 suit but still hood, boots and gloves.

I've seen footage of the Mediterranean pumping maybe Italy.

Yeah man it’s funny Out here it can be 3-4ft slop and everyone is stoked. Also here’s a video of the break I surf. Ben gravy actually came out and shredded it.

The southern tip, you just need a ton of wind to create the waves. You can surf anywhere just have to know the winds.

yeah i know i like to do superior, never done michigan before, i want to go check out north coast surf shop and catch a few waves when im there.
 
Nothing like losing your board in between andy nieblas and jj wessels, but shit getting to surf w those guys and tyler warren, tommy witt, etc. is so mindblowing and humbling as to what is possible on a log. Like seeing andy take off fins first, hanging ten, whipping it around into a reverse graib rail deal is insane. Feel so fucking lucky to have grown up here
 
Had my first warm sesh last week. So many dudes paddling up to their friends and saying how there's so many people out. Yet I didn't see any of those guys when it was 30 degrees and snowing.
 
Guys are saying the sand on the super bank from snapper to green mount is the most filled in it has been in years. at low tide it is basically all one beach. hopefully some bigger waves this weekend. it has been 1-3 feet for like 2 months

yeah my buddy down in Newcastle said its been so good. the swells been too southerly to hit us here properly. a buddy and i went to lennox head one day last week and it was ok. when we got out steph Gilmore was in the parking lot about to head in. that was kinda cool. stayed and watched her get a few waves

Haven't been watching because of work but yeah I'm about to scan over the heat analyser.

Everyone in my street put 50 bucks in for a fantasy league so fair bit of money in it for end of year prize.

Bali is pumping. They said one of Jordy's boards is 38 liters. That's insane. He is killing it out there currently and I understand why they're so high volume but damn. I could probably SUP one of his boards.

If JJF had his heat now, with all these waves, he'd have blown up and won just like everybody else has done thus far. I wanna see Mikey Wright on tour at this point too. He shreds.

may as well just have mikey on there permanently. so fun to watch. and i agree jj got kinda shafted by the ocean in his heat. i hope griff, jordy or mikey wins this event. stoked to see a left for a change at ulu too.

Also fuuckkkk why aren't the waves like that here? Tube, multiple steep sections, second mini tube and closeout section... Meanwhile I'm over here surfing lumpy slightly wind chopped lumps and suffering a grueling paddle out afterwards.
 
I want mikey to win this event so badly. he got a good match up for the quarters. Jordy vs Toledo is gonna be gnarly. if mikey cant then jordy or griffen would be my next favourites. the Brazilians are in way too good of a position right now haha

Annndddd let's see if they send Mikey Wright through... Which they should since his barrel was longer, more technical and deeper than Cardoso's... And they're taking forever... YESSSS they got it right.

been basically flat for over 2 weeks and doesnt look like it is going to change any time soon... im going a bit crazy. drove three hours today to surf 2 footers, was actually pretty fun taking out the longboard though. also bought my first longboard tonight so i can stop using my dads. cant wait for the wave to get better so we can go ride together.

How have the waves been for you boys?

Bit of a dry july in Wollongong.

I've been skiing though so no worries.

Just tiny NE swells with strong offshores. Just need a decent SE swell to light up the good banks we have.

yeah july was some bullshit for the east coast! finally getting swell in the next couple of days. hopefully big enough to run snapper in to greenmount. rainbow bay doesn't really existis literally a pile of sand haha also found a sick deal on a longboard off gumtree so im pretty keen to take it for a rip this weekend.

Lake Michigan was extremely shitty this summer. I think I surfed 6 days over the pass couple months. I’m just glad fall is coming and I’ll be surfing every week again.

Not much has been happening in Coffs for the last few months. Most of the decent sized swells only stick around for a day or two and then it goes back to 2 fters again.
