In all honesty, while Lonie does have his issues and runs my home resort weird AF...back in my journalism days he gave me his personal phone number. As [tag=243257]@Michigan_Sucks[/tag] knows every now and again I would call him drunk at a party and he'd be down to chat about boho and was a good sport about it. He's always around the resort and down to shoot the shit and has a short memory and seems to forget the beef he had with people. He's always milling around the hill and is down to chat.

My season pass is only 130$ for some of the best skiing to be had in the Midwest (some very technical skiing in general just because of the weird terrain), and it gets me a bunch of free days at resorts out west (I'm pretty sure boho lies to these places) but even with all the issues I wouldn't want it any other way.

I really just hate the BOHO PEOPLE. I don't hate boho people but the BOHO PEOPLE that come up here fucking suck. They come up once a year, think they are the best skiers, and think they run the mountain because they argue on the Facebook page. Buncha dentists and tryhards from Chicago and Greenbay who are shit skiers but think they are the next candide because they skied a triple black at boho

I can make a lengthier post later but the best way I can describe is this.

I am a slightly above average skier. When I go out west, I still feel like a slightly above average skier. When I have been out east, I feel like a slightly above average skier.

For the first few days at boho every season, I feel like I've forgotten how to ski and am the worst skier in the world. Most of the people I ride with there feel the same.

The terrain is just weird

Chances are you're not gonna talk to anyone from high school after graduation unless you are very good friends...and even good friends grow apart. Hella trees, snow can be really variable. I can make a run last near 15 minutes out there. Can find some vert when you’re in the right spots. When all the pieces come together it sure don’t feel like the Midwest

same with mrg. paradise area is the only consistently steep hard terrain i know in the east, at least for me. haven't skied enough of smuggs, will probably go there for a comp this year at least once.

its always been an effort. in 2018 i had a seasonal job and went to collect unemployment and even back then i thought it was just easier to get another job lol

Everytime I’d get laid off for a seasonal job they wanted me to come into the county’s unemployment office 90 minutes away and wait in line with 300 other people to apply for jobs on a half dozen computers running Windows ME instead of just signing off online every week. Complete hassle

Shout out pediatric urgent care for billing the fuck outta my parents cause i didn’t have my parents insurance card!!!! I love the american medical care system

if you have insurance and they billed you in full you just call their billing and apply the insurance. also your not using your eyelid to row so dont be a pussy and get out there lol. also also why the fuck are you getting into drunken fights? ive drank a shit ton and way too often since i was 15 and i never got in a fight. keep tabs on if you find yourself getting aggressive while drinking. i know some people who have lost a lot of friends and respect from others that way so the sooner you can avoid that the fuckin better lol

my parents will prolly give them a call with our insurance card when they open on monday. I should really get a copy especially since if i get hurt skiing esp since a ambulance bill could be like 10-15k.

The doctors were worried it would get infected from all the sweat and chances of water splashing on it. Along with the stitches ripping if they get wet and sweaty and i wipe my eye.

Also i think it’s something I should watch out for, but the guy said some stuff that really set me off and probably would have sober so idk. I’m seeing a new counselor Tuesday and i’ve been finding myself just more angry in general so maybe she can help. Fought some kid in school the other day because he called my sister fat for getting food from a vending machine and she’s anorexic so I lost my shit and beat the poor kid. Teacher that caught it didn’t write do anything cause she knows me but that was thursday afternoon so i’ll probably get in trouble monday but oh well. Kid deserves something to put him in his place maybe not as far as i went but something
