Why can't I find an isometric dot grid notebook? I'd even take a spiral bound.

Am I going to just have to make my own?

this girl i hooked up with yesterday kissed my ring when we were cuddling after and it sent me off. ik she prolly thought it was cute and all but that’s the only thing i have from my grandfather, is his silver wedding band. safe to say i’m never seeing her again and she will be left on read

wait did you have an abortion?

What's funny is it's inefficient power wise to blow smoke. That's all energy being burnt up in the exhaust and not in the cylinder where power is made.

yacked today after she talked to me, so i went home early. quite literally cannot get through a whole day without her fuckin me up or myself fucking up. i want her to just leave me alone

Wondering if making 100K a year is worth being an office slave.

How else are you going to make 100k a year?

Is there a clear path of promotions?

Work it as long as you can

Stack bread

Live cheaply

Get the compound interest rolling

Being in an office 40-50hrs a week isn’t that bad imo. Most of the beef I’ve heard about office jobs is coworker or management related but that’s true for like any job ever.

HVAC? Sparky, plumbing, concrete, UPS driver, honestly $100k/ year isn't super high these days.

you screen name holds true lol.

imo fuck an office job. soul suckin work that consumes the majority of your waking hours. whats the plan? work until your the age of retirement and too worn out physically to do the things you saved for?? fuuuuck that i rather be broke and have fun even if that means i work until i die. also my adhd personality makes it to where if i am not interested in something then i wont do it. soooo i gotta work positions that align with my values. and my values do not include the paper chase nor being trapped in an office.

i can totally see how it can be a good fit for many. especially if you were trapped in a shitty state or had some circumstances tying you down or if being wealthy and having status was a personal value but that just aint me dawg.

Trades break the body. White collar breaks the soul.

That being said, while I am not passionate about my job, the compensation and vacation are decent and allow me to fund/do the things I like so it isn't that bad IMO. An hour of work equals an hour of fun.

Would I rather do something I love and also have the money to fund all the hobbies and shit? Absolutely. Is that common? Not really.

It's all about balance. Working 80 a week and not doing anything you like is shit. Living like a scumbag and being 30 with $100 in the bank account and lots of injuries/no opportunities is probably also not great.

For most, there's probably a good middle ground you can reach but you've gotta find/fight for it.

I hope I get some more experience but freelance seems the way to go. Wouldn’t mind grinding out for a few months to have a fat break between projects.

Aight some things I gotta rant about:

Someone needs to put out a PSA and let people out here in Montana know that the highway speed limit starts on the entrance ramp. The speed limits in Montana are 75-80 on my morning commute, some dumbass was getting onto the highway going 40 this morning. Whole line of cars (me included) behind this dude and he got onto the highway doing almost half the speed limit and then bee lined for the left lane and cut a couple people off. Like what goes through your head when you do that? And before someone hits me with the "out of staters can't drive" this mf had MT plates and permanent tags, would have thought they'd be more familiar with the highways out here- newer truck too, so like???

Also why tf do I have to setup my own graduation? MSU knows exactly where I'm at with my degree and knows I'm set to graduate this semester... So why do I have to hunt down my advisor and get all this shit setup? Like bro just check the students records and piece it together! Anyone student teaching is graduating right after- they physically do not let you enroll unless you're done with everything else. Now I'm spending my prep period for school today trying to get ahold of my advisor and setup graduation. As if people in their last semester don't have enough going on already ffs.

Gotta love the added steps to the university experience. My school charged me a fee to process my graduation application.

Okay so when i was a program coordinator there was still a LOT of back end work for graduation paperwork, even with the newer online system. It’s totally pain, especially if you have a shitty advisor, but it also set up the student with some responsibility. I had a student who was eligible to graduate, had life stuff and ended up graduating the next semester. If I had passed on the paperwork then we would have never known and there would have been bigger issues. (Idk in chem I had to be the final person to check before the registrar and if there were problem I had to reach out and help solve them. It’s not a great system but it prevents even more backlog in the department

Probably just an old person in a new truck.

Its terrifying how bad old people are at driving.

Was at a five guys on Friday and watched an old dude drive his new Chevy Colorado off a 2ft wall twice. A bystander had to get in his truck and back it out for him.

It used to be even crazier when Josh or whatever his name was ran it.

Remember the Bo-Hoes post?

Or when they got called out by the ski patrollers union?

Or when some dude made t-shirt joking about the boho hotub and Lonnie called him out by name on the insta saying he was banned from the resort?

It does work though. All the big resorts get like 10-30 comments. Pretty much every boho post is a 50 comment plus battle ground/shit flinging fest.

Dudes with a 4 year marketing degree getting paid 90k a year at Vail wish they got even half the engagement that a blurry picture of a hot tub on the boho page gets

I was just reading through this one lol. All press is good press i guess. My favorite this summer was all the ridiculous sauna/spa upgrades they were posting about while all the comments were asking for more basic amenities like changing rooms lmao
