i read the first book of lotr and then watched the movie after. it was so mid, so horribly lame compared to what i imagined it looked like in my head that i lost all motivation to read the rest, i probably read like half of the next book before losing all interest.

I read all three books then watched all three movies extended cuts and thought it was awesome, especially the fellowship. The practical effects were so well done and they definitely still stand up for being from the early 2000s

There is no way you read lotr in the 4th grade. Theres like 1200 pages and its not 4th grade level reading at all.

hobbit is super good, but nowhere close to the writing of lotr. its a kids book.

yea idk brev I took geometry in 5th or 6th grade, but na i meant i read the hobbit. I got taken out of all the advanced classes in sixth grade though. since it was a charter school they were always buggin about how far ahead of other schools they were but i didn't learn much more than other schools, besides spaniche, and math

as someone who read lotr in 4th grade I can safely say I understood about 50% of what I was reading

Still dont have my guitar back working yet :( Jammed at a friends house a bit last night though. Felt good to touch the strings again and play a little. Also its a nice long skate back too town from there. Nice spot to think or avoid thinking

Don’t hate me for saying this but Harlaut is, for the lack of a better word, kind of cringe. This whole gangster image he’s been trying to embody lately is throwing me off. Like, there’s nothing I can relate between Henrik Harlaut and ”the hustle”. He’s a white skier from Sweden probably born into a well-off family.

Don’t get me wrong, even I enjoy listening to og hip hop and like to imagine being in an edit from the golden era of skiing. But, HH is taking it to the point where it just isn’t ”cool” anymore. I know it doesn’t matter what I think. I just want to know if I’m the only one.
