i’m getting downvoted because i’m a entitled kid with well off parents complaining about having to work. But at the end of the day for the amount of I’m doing the pay is god awful. I just can’t quit either job or my parents will be mad. Their requirement is I put in 40hrs a week in order for them to pay for my education. Which is beyond reasonable, but I can’t keep doing this 24-30ish hours at this shop for this pay in addition to minimum wage plus tips at a ice cream shop another 18-24hrs a week

cut back on the ice cream shop? Build useful skills for $18 or scoop ice cream for minimum wage, seems like the bike shop even if you are being underpaid is the better gig. Also who trusts a 17 year old to order bikes and shit?
 
So maybe me and dude I was bitching about are gonna get along this season. Hoping he realizes I'm not hanging around slope all day yelling at guests, but also I do a killer job in the cat when I'm pushing snow. Hopefully it continues like this. Idk, like the guy enough, we get along, but when he sucks, he fucking sucks. I think as I've ignored requests to do bullshit day time stuff but stayed late and kicked ass in the snowcat it's started to help.

Hoping that vibe continues. Idk, I'm pretty decent at what I can do in a cat, even these old 1980s machines. I just don't want to stand around yelling at guests in the day ever. That's not my jam, will never bee my jam. I I started around 2 and got out at 1 30 am tonight. Also have 0 days off unless I line them up. So basically working plenty for my wages. So that's why I was hostile of all the bullshit. I think also said guy is used to being the only good operator/only guy who can groom park, so maybe that factored in.

Anyway I'm staying optimistic and hoping it works out. Like I said I'm down for whatever. I don't mind going off somebody else's plan, I just want to either get set loose, or somebody tells me a plan and leaves me the fuck alone to go do it. Hopefully we're moving in the right direction. If it does work out and maybe they cranked my wages up a little I'd consider coming back next year. I really do love Africa, it's just hard to make it work as you're pretty much working 7 day a week to lose money.
 
Really want this thing with this girl im seeing to work out but we've both haven't had dating experiences and/or have been in shitty situations, both have had head injuries and struggle mentally sometimes, so i dont know what to do.

just make sure you want it to work out because they are the right person and not because you want to prove to yourself that you can do it or some other reason. i tend to stay in things longer than i should and it benefits no one. dont do that lol.

i’d love to but there is no money on the books to staff me another day of the week. Even tho I get the work done of two other sales/cashier employees. Which I have clearly explained to the owner but ones his retired friend and works to stay busy, the other is some kid who’s uncle or something buys a fancy ass new cervelo every year. Both are completely incompetent and cannot asses even the slightest mechanical issue on a bike or sell a bike over 7-800$. In addition to having zero fuckin social skills or tech skills, and cannot seem to use our computer system for the life of them. Pisses me off

Lit, I just got back from a road trip and I get to wake up for school at 6 tomorrow. Class starts at 7 and then after that I start my new job. Had a massive burger and I wasn't hungry for four meals after that. My dog pissed on a buddy's 10k bike. Lil homie gets more girls than I do and he's borderline emo. My feet itch, haven't showered in 5 days. I collabed with arsenic on the pants that drop in a few days. Super exited for the drop and am gonna order the pants and purple shirt with money I don't have. Have had to shit for 4 hours but wanted to get home and now I don't have to poop. My friends gf sent me a nude and I told him. He was pissed as fuck. She was mid anyways. I'm trying to edit some footage together that is good enough to drop. my dog keeps chewing on his balls and there are sores that are super gross. He also thew up today. The color green is the best color because all pretty girls have green eyes. They are also all bitches. Got a concussion 4 weeks ago and still feel it a little. Feeling real good though and when I ride my bike all the problems go away but doctor says no fun riding or proper sending yet. I haven't written this much since my college application essay thing. I'm exited to start on my last machining quarter and do 5 axis stuff but after that I get to do math. Math is hard because brain damage makes you bad at math and gives you anger issues. Cant hold coherent thoughts. Yeeee. The on3p best worst is cool. My parents are asking if I'm writing a great American novel and are proud. Tired as fuck. PEace.

I hate these bs swim meets at this pool close by.

its a tiny neighborhood pool, but for some reason have these huge meets, I’m talking people bringing tents to sit at the park outside and take up an entire soccer field.

Then, once they are gone, they leave so much trash, like a full canopy and lawn chairs. Talked to an old guy picking it up and he had two trash bags full of it.

Whatever happened to no littering? Also the same group to complain about homeless people, but act even worse.
 
Mouth healthcare system is the biggest joke ever.

I got a letter in march that recommended me to get an appointment to dentist. First I had wait 4 weeks for a spot to call them because their call times didn't fit my schedule at all. They gave me a time for a mouth hygienist to May because apparently they do the check ups for high schoolers. The hygienist checked up my teeth and said something needed to be checked by a real dentist because she didn't know(??) if there was something wrong with my teeth. She gave me the time for a real dentist appointment to June and they did the same exact check as the hygienist and said something needs to be fixed and gave me a time for this weeks Thursday. Now they sent me message saying that my appointment was cancelled and they will give me a new time with a fucking letter. Why can't they send the new time with a message. My teeth will rot before I get to the dentist.

Fuck those who designed this inefficient system. It doesn't make any sense.

I've only heard great reviews on these. I need one. I still floss nightly with my Glide Floss but i hate any other floss brand.

I'm one of those rare breeds who is 34 and have no cavities, no braces no retainer.

At 5:45 this morning he was screaming at them in the street to lay down. and i had a dream that cops had guns pointed at me and screaming to lay down lmao. then i woke up and listened to him struggle to get any obedience out of his dogs while i lay there day dreaming thoughts of police brutality. lovely way to start the day wouldnt you say??

LMFAO. Oddly enough I had a dream I shot and killed someone who was in Antifa who was trying to light my favorite bar on fire. Then It turned into a nightmare when I realized I was going to jail. I've never been so fucking happy to wake up.

Just like most parents are bad at raising kids. My sister is a Vet, and it is horrifying hearing the mistreatment some animals get. If you hurt animals, you are the absolute worst of humanity and should be locked up for a long time.

if you’re even having thoughts of this than you definitely should try and get ahead of it sooner than later. it doesn’t get easier. connection is the opposite of addiction so finding the right group of people to socialize with sober is key.

careful man I am pretty sure Adderall fried my heart. Have had all sorts of tests done that haven't detected anything, but I tell you what my chest has never quite felt the same since a period in my life a couple years ago when I ate way too much Adderall

Idk man. Can't really say what you should or shouldn't do. I mean obviously there's better and worse choices but people are gonna do what they're gonna do. I've done a decent amount of shit. Adderall is better than sniffing oxy's at least but still. Can be a dangerous game.

Hell Idk. I like sniffing K on rare occasions with freinds, and never felt compelled to do it outside of certain circles at occasional shows, but had friends that got addicted to even that. And compared to other drugs it's not very addictive.

If you know you have a family history with drug/ alcohol abuse just tread lightly man.

At least you missed out on the Oxy wave. Had a bunch of friends that started with those and then got super hooked and into heroin. A lot of them are clean now, pretty much everyone else is gone unfortunately.

Also be aware these days the amount of counterfeit prescriptions. It's higher than it's ever been. Do what you're gonna do just be careful. If you feel like you're becoming dependent on anything it could be a good time to make a change before you get too sucked in.

Like I said, I've done plenty of shit "I shouldn't have" and still prolly drink too much but don't really do any drugs ever other than mushrooms(barely even a drug). I'm just saying to watch your shit.

I spent years going to shows and festivals constantly so have been around large amounts of pretty much every drug other than some obscure ones. Seen lots of people go from casual to addicted on various substances.

You're young, you're gonna dabble in things. Just be careful my dude.

Met more Americans in Africa that are on mission trips. It's like the new styling on colonialism. Fuck anywhere we live, let's get people to fund our trip to Africa to sell Jesus in trade for things. Cool. Always hated that shit. I remember as much from the other times I was here but always hard to relate to that.

My cousin and her husband did a couple years of mission work in various countries. Their newsletter emails were so cringey. Terribly uncultured people going to Africa for the soul purpose of slinging Jesus.

Idk, I love people helping to help. Not just helping or pretending to help as a way to push their beliefs. That's just fucked.

Kinda like the church run rec programs that don't push anything and just provide a service versus the ones that really only are to draw in kids for a devotional and other bs.
