Yeah the slopestyle has like 8 judges + 2-3 more people helping them record tricks, take notes, etc there's a reason it takes so fucking long to get the score, they're looking at everything.

Additionally, they also have isolated camera shots. So the camera cuts you don’t see on air, they see in their booth still.

so judges have everything they need, trick callers, iso cams, their own replays, etc.

good to see the breakdown though, gives the armchair athletes something to go against

his jump game is textbook perfect, but idk why i don't like the way it looks, it's like Goepper. Both of them are insane, but something just doesn't seem right

His run was overscored though, fell early on rail #1... Bosch and Matej should have scored higher than that run.
 
Rail game in the finals is pretty uninspiring. Qualifiers were way more exciting in that regard. I guess most of the exciting rail skiers didn't make the cut.
 
Did we already address why Wallisch isn’t on the mic? Cause it isnt NBC prime time?

There are two feeds with two different sets of announcers. It’s been this way for all the freestyle skiing event. Toms was just on USA now he’s on NBC Primetime. Tom and Todd have been the PrimeTime feed duo.
 
Found the stream. Pictures and previews don’t do it justice, this is easily the most beautiful slopestyle course of all time holy

Thank god. Turned on the primetime again and Tom’s on it. Had never heard the other two guys this whole time and was so confused
 
Did Tom say something about the mute grab becoming the auclair grab or something? I might have just been hearing things
