Official The Walking Dead Season 4 Thread

Once Carol said that her daughter "didn't have a mean bone in her body" then literally in the next cut scene she said that about the little sister I had a strong feeling she was gonna die.

That last episode for Carol was like her losing her daughter all over again.

eh idk. It def. makes sense but on the other hand there were quite a few "charred" zombies that somehow made it away from the fire. I think there is a possibility someone or a group was trying to burn a pile of zombies. Both ideas seem pretty plausible but that would be pretty cool if you are right and would follow the theme of characters just missing each other.

I thought it was because when they left the burning house there were a bunch of zombies that were coming out of the trees. So I just assumed that group of walkers were that same group that came out of the trees.

It's a solid idea, and like I said it would follow the theme of the main characters just missing each other. You're probably right.

Exactly this.

I hate reading this thread because it's all a bunch of bitching. If you don't like the show that much, don't watch it.

I could tell from previous episodes that Lizzie had an underlying mental issue, so seeing it come out the way it did, killing her own sister to prove zombies had some sort of soul was very intense. And then to turn that into having to off her - allowing Carol to admit the truth to Tyrese and let him understand her actions, was great play on the episode. I'm really glad Carol is back - she is one of my favorite characters.

She was way too excited to see them, cannibal for sure...

Episode was good IMO. I liked how they brought Maggie and Glenn together. I think the Daryl group will be fun to watch meet up with the Rick group. Now that we know they have been tracking them.

I think people will die next episode.

Also TWD FB posted this a few mins ago, sneak peak of next weeks episode.

Just a whole lot of meh..not a bad episode, but not what you would except the episode before a season finale. It didn't build any really suspense or excitement

Darryl's new group was interesting with their revised rules of living in the post zombie apocalypse. Reminded me of when a 14 year old yells 'shotgun' to get the front seat of a car. It would have been great if Darryl just ripped the arrow out of the guys head instead of pussy footing around with the blanket

The entire michonne/carl segment was absolutely awful

The one redeeming character outside of Darryl's group was kenny power's twin brother. The eloquent redneck scientist is great role for the show and he plays if pretty damn good

I thought he was gonna put the blanket down then grab the arrow.

The one thing they did build was that Daryl's group is hunting Rick's group. And we really know nothing about Terminus.

"Kenny Powers twin brother" made me laugh. Pretty good description of that guy.

i thought it was a decent episode. although not quite what i would expect from the second to last episode of the season. i'm not exactly hanging off of the edge of my seat with anticipation. i'm glad they finally wrapped some things up....like the whole glenn & maggie drama. and i'm glad we've reached terminus before the last few seconds of the last episode...even though we probably won't see/learn anything about the place until next season as they focus on the few remaining stragglers.

one thing i do hate about this show is all of the fucking commercials. maybe watching most of my tv online has spoiled me, but it seems that there's a commercial break every 7-10 minutes. holy fuck it's too much!

ahhh good point, that was actually a really important part of the story that I just glossed over

It was also important to note that the lead of that rag-tag group stated only one guy in their group caught a partial look at rick so maybe it will come down to darryl putting 2 and 2 together and killing the one guy that can ID rick?

The commercials are absolutely terrible. I've resorted to recording walking dead and watching cosmos real time. Then starting walking dead at 10 and skipping commercials...makes it much more tolerable

PREDICTIOn

terminus is the cannibals from the comic book.......i mean, they were cooking "meat" and.... why would they direct people to go to there camP?

#$$$$$$

Ya, but anyone who hasn't read the comics wouldn't even know there are cannibals in the storyline.... including me

Thanks for ruining it fucker

So that's a metaphor for terminus?

Didn't read the comic books but cannibals would be sweet...kinda reminds me of the road. I'm also glad we have a macro-plot with getting this half-retard half-scientist guy to Washington to fix all this.

It seemed pretty sketchy how Glenns group just walked right in to terminus, wouldnt a place like that be guarded even a bit?

SPOILERS SPOILERS HAS COMIC BOOK INFO

my theory is that terminus is the cannibal haven, terminus means final end, and thus it would be a "final end" for all who ended up there and that mary chick seemed mad skeevy.

the cannibals from the comic book have been turned into daryls group and the cannibals turned over to that town they were going to in the comics which has become terminus

How long would it take to read through the comic books?

As someone who watches the show, do you think it'd be entertaining or is it going to be repetitive?

Pretty worth it, you'll get past the prison fairly quickly and even that plays out quite differently in the comics. The whole point of the series was to make it different from the comics so that people who'd read them wouldn't know what was happening in the show. There will probably be some more things that tie in but for the most part I feel they are 2 different storyies now.

I still want to know... What the hell happened to Beth?

I'm really hoping we don't have to wait til season 5 to find out about her.

Either they visit that next episode or they flash it right at the end and make us wait. If they show her get taken in the beginning when it shows what's already happened on TWD... then they will show us.

Pretty sure the person that Daryl's group is looking for is rick because he strangled their friend while he was hiding in that house

i'm calling bullshit on him knowing what caused the breakout. my guess is that it's all a scam. that's his way of surviving....conning GI Joe in to doing everything possible to keep him alive.

Didn't think of that. Sounds plausible.

Another thing just hit me though. Rick is being tracked by Joe and Daryl's group, and they are on the train tracks. So Rick's group is obviously ahead of the hunters/claimers or whatever they're called. But why hasn't Rick's group seen any of the signs Maggie put up for Glenn? Could it be that the timeline isn't like it is being displayed to the viewers? Could it be that Rick's group was the first to arrive at Terminus? Glenn and ponytail girl did travel the opposite way by car for 3+ hours, which is a long way to walk back.

On another hand, they could just be on different railroad tracks. Terminus seems to be right next to some sort of railroad meeting station or something.

final episode was shit i thought. It was alright up until the last 3 minutes. that last line pissed me off

It would be thrilling for there to be a gif of him ripping that man's throat out with his teeth.

They said they filmed it with him saying fuck and he liked it better with fuck, but amc couldnt risk losing their ad money for saying fuck so they took it out

It blows my mind that they can show zombies being decapitated, guts, gore ect...... a guys throat being ripped out for fucks sake...........but at the same time Rick cant say "Fuck".

Also, Rick seems pretty optimistic for a guy who's locked in a cattle car surrounded and outnumbered by armed cannibals. By golly, I wonder what trick he's got up his sleeve this time gang!
