Official The Walking Dead Season 4 Thread

awesome episode. i'm glad they didn't drag the fight out until after the break...speaking of which, fuck you amc for your mid-season breaks.

hopefully the show picks up now that theyre out of the prison.

That was a great episode. Hershel, damn. That sucked.

But sooooo glad the Gov is toast.

That little blonde girl stepped it up and is a fucking bad ass.

Yea that was sweet. Glad the Gov is dead and they are now out of the prison. Hopefully the show has more interesting shit happen now.

Do we think Judith is eaten or is she still alive?

....Return of Morgan? Rick and Carl go to where they left him and hes still fighting off walkers?

That was an awesome episode stoked for second part of season.

Judith is probably alive

Fuk u govenur rot in hel

Was anyone important on that bus except Glen? And where did Michone go?

So now they're scattered all over the place, but it sounded like they had some sort of plan about where they would meet up in case shit hit the fan. Carol is probably still alive, maybe she met Morgan?

I didn't even notice this. Bunch of rag tag no one gives a fucks on that bus aside from glenn

What confused me is why the bus just didn't go a couple hundred yards down the road and wait for survivors/why none of the survivors even want in the basic god damn direction of the bus with everyone in it

I wanted to know what happened to Michone. I knew she was going to save Rick and kill the Gov.

And I really think Morgan will come back, no way they just threw an episode in there with him for no fucking reason.

My only problem with that theory is everyone was saying the first time they showed Morgan that he would definitely be in the finale to help rick and his crew fend of the governor. Ship sailed on that theory last night...

I think the story might be closed on Morgan. It showed the contrast between rick/morgan character by showing how the family kept rick from teetering off into la la land like morgan. He lost his family, rick saw that and was able to stay somewhat in one piece.

Plus how could morgan be any healthier after all that time passed? They were in the prison for a while and morgan was completely sliding down hill no matter what rick could do, how/why would morgan turn around now?

Although maybe that is how rick and carl make it through the first couple episodes by heading to morgans shanty town and recuperating...I guess anything is possible

I think they will at least go back to his town thing. If Morgan is still there, IDK, but I think that either he or his camp will come back into play.

And this is TWD... they don't have to explain how he became healthier very well. I feel like they just kinda do shit all the time. When they finally bring Carol back they probably won't really explain how she has survived the entire time.

anyone else mildly annoyed by the fact that such a minor character got to kill the governor? I mean, michonne stabs him but doesnt get the credit for the actual kill because that other chick (mom of the girl who got got by the mud-zombie) ends up shooting him in the face.

I just thought that michonne would cut his head off or rick would end up killing him but nope. some random girl who's been in three episodes gets to shoot him in the face.

also, the fact that michonne escaped after the gov cut of herschels head is so retarded, she just like, rolls away to safety in front of that heavily-armed group of people then reappears after the whole fight

Did they seriously have to kill Herschel? Everyone saw the Gov being killed coming, and they finally left the prison, WOOO that only took what twenty episodes....

Michonne was not about to put him out of his own misery, she wanted to leave him for the walkers. And with her luck, he'd of turned and they'd run into each other again, and she'd get to kill him twice.

The girl who put him out of his misery did so because he meant something to her.

Michonne's move totally makes sense.

"Its for you"

That was great. Really enjoyed the episode. Hopefully it stays good because man it sucked the last few seasons.

I think that the other group has Judith. Probably Glenn and Maggie because they are the only other couple left.

CARL IS THE WORST FUCKING ACTOR IN THE HISTORY OF ACTING

FUCK. I've seen better acting from a fucking tomato can, the kid is the worst. Every single line is forced and it appears like he's reading it right off a cue card. The should just straight up replace him a la will smith's aunt in fresh prince of bel air

That being said, I think the episode was good. I like how their back (at least momentarily) to the survival aspect of the show. That's what got me hooked to the show in the first place and they did a good job with going back to the shows roots in this first episode

I also think the mihconne story line/nightmare was really well done

Holy fuck, i forgot just how intense the show could be. It was getting stale for a while. Not a fan of carl as a character but the new episode had that super dark feeling about it that the show had in the earlier seasons.

He was a little bitch the first two seasons. Then in season 3 he was a badass, then this season he's been a typical teenager, rebelling and shit, making a few dumb decisions. Glen has been the bitch this season!

I didn't quite get what was going with that? At first everything seemed perfect, then suddenly they're all dirty and sweaty and then those two guys are just sitting there with their arms cut off. Anyone care to explain this?

i assume those two guys were the ones she made into her original "pets" (the zombies that follow her everywhere) from when she was introduced in season 3. I know that michonne had previous relationships with both the guys that became her first pair of pets, so i guess when she got these new ones she had flashbacks to those original guys in her dream. started off like it was before the outbreak, then gradually they change to their final mutilated states and she wakes up.

but that leads me to one other thing. i know the pet zombies can't attack michonne without arms and their lower jaws, but why dont they ever try? we know that zombies will try to attack people, no matter what condition theyre in, such as the decapitated zombie heads that desperately bite at people. but the magical combo of no arms & no jaw, and they instantly become totally docile, as do the nearby zombies. its a cool concept but never really made sense to me.

also, michonne taking out that mini horde was pretty badass, but she also seems to have lost her new pets already. oh well

I think it was explained why they stop earlier on, I thought someone said "if you take away their ability to feed, they quit trying" or something along those lines. However, I could be wrong

Pretty sure you're right. I remember Michonee saying that to maybe Andrea when she was explaining her first set of zombies

The michonne scene was nothing but a nightmare with her boyfriend Mike, her son and some other guy I don't think we know the name of yet. Michonne while she's awake shoves all that pain and agony down inside of her so when she's sleeping her subconscious is the only way for that stuff to metabolize.

The dream made her realize there still is a group of people she cares about, that's why she went back to the road where she saw rick and carl's footprints and tracked them down

pwnd, btch.

... except we know thats not entirely true because we've seen some zombies that are in ROUGH shape, but they still go for it. i mean, look at sand zombie, or moss zombie, or the decapitated heads. is it just the jaw? thats literally the only thing limiting them from eating? im sure they could use their upper teeth to scrape some skin off a dead body or something. i dont get it. its a logical flaw that is ruining this otherwise completely logical and realistic television show

i dont know why I even care about this

I love how Carls like oh ya I can handle myself and almost gets bitten twice. Seems Rick is right to keep him under a close eye.

Not gonna lie i thought this past season was rubbish, really unentertaining. I hope they are working on an end game for this shit, because i can't stand to watch too many more seasons like the last half season..

that was clearly the main message of this episode. carl still sucks. i was half hoping rick was a zombie and that carl would shoot him but obviously that wasnt gonna happen

have you guys noticed that Rick always talks in the same voice? super slow and gravelly with a real southern drawl. same tone of voice, regardless. i would imitate it to show you, but you cant hear me through your screen.... but ya know?

and he can't point his gun straight. He's always aiming slightly down. I'm no gun expert though, but i keep noticing this every time he uses it.

Thats because hes british. I would think at least. That is the accent that he worked on and that he knows how to talk like. So he doesn't really have another way of talking, unless its with a british accent.
