OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND WINTER 10/11 STORM THREAD

5-9 now for me in Southern NH. I have an 8 page paper due tomorrow and I'd really appreciate it if they'd call off school tonight so I don't have to worry about it... but they probably won't.

Any idea of where the snow is gonna hit. I'm a little nervous because I am usually right on the rain/snow line.

everyone around me is saying like at least a foot for tues/wed.

yet all the reports online a calling for less than an inch

you have to look at special repots for storm info, most daily things dont have actual snow amounts until they are sure of the track of the storm. Which is usually 1-2 days before the storm.

There is still tons of uncertainty with regards to storm track and intensity at this point in time. Anyone calling accumulation totals at this point is full of bullshit and is hypecasting. That said, I would hedge my bets on this storm taken a similar track as the other storms this year.

I don't know what to make of this... Might not be much of anything for anywhere that actually has good terrain, however, storms have really pushed much further north than modeled, so it may net at least some fresh for Southern VT.

Well. Don't mean to triple post here but the estimates change about every house. This morning I saw 8-12, after school I saw 2-4, and I now see 6-10 for Southeast NH. I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Well it's dumping here in Philly this morning and should be following I-95, so anywhere along that and east should expect the same.
