^ ended up attempting to finish my semester. Need all C's or better or I'll take a medical withdrawal which will set me back a year in my major. Other than worrying about how I did on my finals, physically I seem to be back to about normal I'd say

Anyone know if phatman's is doing the mucho jib jam again at kb this year?

havent heard anything about it yet, but i assume they will be because they have done it the past few years.

Regarding the Holiday Valley park manager situation , HVs new park manager will be Mike Nenno. He is a part time member on the training crew staff who helps set up those lame "freestyle" courses for like 12 year olds and has zero experience building actual terrain parks. Regarding the parks moving to Morningstar, **this is unofficial** the plan was to eliminate snoozer and have foxfire become boardercross, moonshadow and fiddlers would then become the new terrain parks. (Rail park remains the same). Hopefully the park move happens but as I said that plan is not official… It would be a small glimmer of hope for HV kids… cheers

Awesome, Hope this follows through. Fingers crossed for another blizzard of '77 this winter.

I'm assuming most or all of us in this thread are from western New York. The university at Buffalo's ski club, Schussmeisters, is hosting Henrik Harlaut and Phil Casabon's movie premieres on Wednesday September 17th. It's gonna be rad. Tickets are $5 and it's gonna be a rad time. Everyone in the wny area should definitely come!

im going for sure!

I was messaging the city garage, here's a park update

Yeah, I think the stoke from last winter and the semi crappy summer has people thinking about winter! Which is what we want ! As far as the doings at Hv, yes the guy that ran the park has moved on. They've hired a new guy. I will say that he doesn't have much experience in the park, but will have a great support team behind him. He will be more of a business manager side of it and their will be a build team under him. It'll be interesting for sure!

Learned some secrets today about this years park at kb... I'm not sure how I feel about them.

Well, they didn't say don't tell anyone soo...

Okay, I guess park is going to be on twister and the top of holly. All the freestyle terrain is gonna be in that area(air bag and park) so that they can open it a lot sooner. The amount of gapers in that area is going to be so high. I'm not sure if I'm okay with it.

They're moving park because I guess not a lot of people were hitting the kickers and they thought it took up a lot of space for so few riders. And they said that area has pretty good terrain so they want to keep world of your own, freedom 35, and devils funnel clear for those reasons. Also, they're opening the woods section above devils funnel so you can ride through there too.

We were also talking about rope tows, possibly for the air bag but more likely for a park. We asked and they didn't deny this, but it might not be for this season.

^The rope tows would be a great idea, as for the jumps no one hits them because they suck almost as bad as holidays. I actually liked the twister park better than the regular park last year because of how poorly they maintained the reg park. Anyways, hopefully they get the rope tow in for this season, that would be phenomenal.

Yeah I hope the rope tow idea follows through haha. It seemed like at least one of those jumps was closed every time I was there too which was annoying. I just don't know how putting features on holly is going to work out... I can only imagine more people sitting on shit and using the lips as jumps than normal. It makes me cringe. Guess we'll have to find out in December.
