So is there even WNY park guys left? Everyone always talks about the good ol days way back when but like is there anyone left? I skied a few days at KB last season and I felt like the only one there. Didn’t make it to HV though

We still exist. I ski at Peek'n Peak with a few skiers on weekends and usually see a bunch of other skiers that didn't come with me. Not sure what HV/KB scene is like these days, don't go to those resorts much.

Apparently Holimonts got a new park manager. Some chap name Chris Perkins? They’re promising big improvements, like a “fresh vibe” and “progressive layouts”. I’m a member there so if it really is that good I’d be happy to get anyone tickets.

But anytime you want just hmu and let me know how many tickets you want and I’ll put the reservation in so all you need to do is show up and grab em. They’re open to the public too during the week if you don’t want to come on a weekend.

Can anyone give me the low down on HV Parks this season? Holimonts got a HUGE setup opening hopefully this weekend right off the main lift but I want to get over to the valley and check out their setup. Can anyone speak for it?

I think it’s pretty crazy how busy holiday valley and KB both have been. Even with limited capacity lines are still pretty long. Also no Canadians can get over the border and they make up a pretty substantial chuck of HV skiers. Super crazy. I thought this would be the year KB went under but if they’re selling out like they have been, maybe not

Agreed hv has been nuts swamped with people but more money means more snowmaking, expansions, new lifts, new features and more money hopefully a sliver of that cash goes into hv parks. They finally listened to me after spamming there ig until I got restricted. They setup some features I drew in fids and they also moved the jumps to moonshadow like I had been asking. Park crew says we’re getting a 3rd jump on moonshadow and there’s a metric shit ton of snow so hopefully it’s a biggy
