Official Holiday Valley / Kissing Bridge Thread

Phatman Boardshops annual mucho jib jam will be Saturday November 8th at Kissing Bridge. Registration will start around noon and admission I believe will be $10, I will double check on that tho.
 
Fuckk. I really want to ride at the mucho jib jam but I fractured my ankle 3 weeks ago..Shitt. I'll still be there, but I probably can't ride yet.

I was thinking of going to the rail jam but I'm new to the area and would unfortunately have to go solo, just wanted to know if its worth it and if anyone would wanna be ski frandz

The only other girl ever there is my friend Jenelle but she's at college and probably won't be there. I'm gonna see how my ankle feels and I might ride. Otherwise I'll probably just bring my camera or something. Im short and have reddish/brown hair lol you'll probably see me!
 
I heard Holiday is getting a tram sometime in the near future. Can anyone confirm this?

I hear, they arew planning to build town houses along spruce lake chair, then after the chair to connect to holimont, but that was when hv was gonna buy holimont. So since hv isnt buying holimont anymore, i dont know what happening

the only conceivable lift is mardi gras... and there is just no way... the fluctuation in business between night/day, week day/weekend, and high/low seasons totally invalidates any gain in replacing a detachable quad for a tram.

sucks getting played as a freshmen at ub doesn't it?

My mom took a tour thing of the resort. Holimont was abut to go bankrupt, and some company bought them out I believe. Before hv had made their descision.

Ive been skiing there for 15 years
 
It's cool that they maintain they're machines that well but they should really focus on dropping the price on those fucking chicken finger baskets.

yeah 3 or 4 years ago they weren't doing super well financially, however they were never sold. They raised fees and opened it up to the public on week days

Hahaha no. I never buy food when I go skiing. Unless it's kb fries. And they could raise their prices as much as they want. I will pay for them because they are the shit.
 
anyone know if kb changed anything about their parks/ got new stuff? I know they are moving their park to holly but any new features or anything?

Also, i heard that the coal chute lift was retired. is that true?

There has been talk about a rope tow. I'm not sure if that will be for this season or sometime in the next few years tho.
 
Any word on what the park is going to be like on fiddlers? Back in the day it was fun as hell to ride all the rails and boxes there.

IMO They need to move the entire park to fiddlers, moonshadow, and morning star. All progressing in that order.

Foxfire is way to steep at the top for a park. It kills the vibes imo.
