Newschoolers, Lets see your Whips!

2007 Volvo S60R, super slept on car with sleeper status due to the 300hp/tq stock turbo 5 cylinder and Haldex AWD. I tuned the bitch up to stage II with a custom FMIC, Catless DP, 3" Midpipe, Intake and Turbo Inlet pushing 18psi. Also stock Brembo brakes and full intelligent suspension with 3 drive modes, I love it.

Love to see more Volvos. I'm looking for an 850R/V70R at the moment.

2016 “Trail Premium” - whoever owned it before me though put a ton of extras on it.

-TRD rims/Nitto Grapplers

-TRD skid plate

-Pro front bumper

-Bildstein shocks with 2” lift

those are the extras I’ve been able to figure out on my own. My buddy has a shop I’m taking it to next week to look it over. I want to get an undercoat put on it and a new ceramic coat to help with scratches (the stock paint on this thing is shit...)

My brother ceramic coated his 3rd gen himself. It's night and day. He doesn't get pinstripes on trails from trees or scratchy Nevada sage. The ugly winter road salt/dirt doesn't stick to his car. He never gets water marks anymore. It's a small investment that pays off big time

Just trying to put a little extra into it while it’s pretty new to hopefully extend the life of her. I can’t wait to get her off road a little bit on some easy trails to see what she can do.

With a 2in lift and decent tires, that 4runner is more capable than you think. Have fun with it! There are beautiful trails everywhere

Super sick, had a couple FB's as a teenager and my best friend had an FC. Thankfully the fb's were too slow to put my license at risk, my buddy wasn't as fortunate.

Thanks! I've had it for 8 years or so, most of that time it was on jack stands. This one if V8 swapped, so it is alot of fun but I don't really drive it on the street

I forgot about this thread! Traded my WRX for this 6 speed 340ix M sport. The upgrade only cost $8k and car had half the miles of my Subaru, not to mention all the better features. BMW depreciation (and Subaru resale) is retarded.

Absolutely can’t wait for ski season with this. Already have downpipe, fueling and now tempted to get at least a ported turbo right off the bat. Need to wrap or dip it before winter. I cant wait to bring shame to BMW community

Hell yes man. Absolutely killer choice of a car. How are you liking it? Have you tuned with MHD yet?

Oh god i had so much fun snow parking lot drifting a couple days ago. Effortless power, yes downpipe E30 tune on MHD. Putting on a EFR9174 turbo with port injection next week. Gonna suck that i wont have the car for a couple weeks during ski season but i just cant wait. Also never get to ski anyways now with 2 kids

That's whats up. I love tuning on MHD. I haven't done one in awhile as the majority of my clients are subie kids. But the bimmers hold my heart.

I think you will really enjoy that borg warner turbo, it's a blast. Are you getting a doc race kit or?

Everything but. Exact same setup as DocRace but guy locally is gonna build it—he’s built big 800hp N54 and N55 turbos locally and since the charge pipe will be fabbed for the port injection just figured i’d let him do it. Also might have him fuck it all up so I can put a HKS BOV on like a dumbass, be the laughing stock of the BMW/B58 community but fuck it, my 6 speed car will never be the fastest anyways so why not make it how i want

hmmm turbos? you must have some high horsepower toys

my naturally asiprated only dynoed 696hp at 6900rpm ;)

3000lbs helps though due to lack of horsepower.

Pretty solid build. Bummer about the 4eat though. lol. I have driven some with the valve body mod and it helps but still not my cup of tea. Stock block and heads still?

It works pretty well down at sea level in the bay area , where E85 just is not really available in the north bay. Plus for a car that was given to me stock in 2013 and mostly sits in my parents garage these days its fun. Maybe one day I'll get around to doing a manual swap. I have a 3.6 outback and 05 outback xt i still haven't decided what to do with either lol.

Goodbye to the old:

1045563.jpeg Hello to the new:

1045564.jpeg

As beautiful and rad as the camro was, making it work as my full time, only vehicle was actually destroying me. So, heres to the new whip, a ski mobile if ever there was one. The bonus is its a manual, which the camaro wasn't.
