Killington bear park???

hey im prob headin up to killington tomorrow and was wonderin if they have anything set up over on bear? what trails it on? we were talkin to some of the park crew on weds and they said they will hopefully have some stuff up by the weekend
 
ya i was ridin timberland on wed.. soo sick. nice flow and everything.. just alitle small but some good jumps to throw down. u headin up tomorrow?
 
i was at killy on friday this is what i remember being set up

on bear, bear trap is open with like 3 decent sized jumps, 1 fd rail, 1 flat box, a quarterpipe, and a barrel bonk from what i remember

on k1, reason has been open with a fucked up jump and like 3 boxes, 3 rails, and a cool barrel jib

also timberline on ramshead looked like it had a nice setup but i didnt get over there for very long
 
we headed up there to today.. and bear wasnt anything special... there was a flat box. barrel. wall ride. flat down... and some jumps.. the last one was nice. we only took 2 runs in that park just stayed in timberland all day... but is was soo crowded
 
yeeh thats why i wasnt over at timberland the other day ramshead is usually full of loud ass new yorkers who cant ski
 
I skiied OL twice in a row two days ago and then couldnt ski well for an hour because my thighs were too tired haha. I also almost fell asleep at lunch. Tough life ill tell ya..
 
cuase on sunday when we went up there were so many gapers

and asians on the mountain u couldnt ski the trails.... and it was ice... havnt

been up to hit the new snow yet... hopefully it will be around on friday.
 
yea i was up this morning and skiied OL once, it was pretty sweet. I was dissapointed devils fiddle wasnt open, even though i could have easily ducked the rope i didnt really want to risk getting my pass pulled. Julio and Anarchy are sick if you like tight tree skiing with tonsssss of snow. Big dipper was really good in the morning too
 
I was at Okemo on the 31st and we got like 6 or 8 inches maybe and I was like I bet Killington's got some more right now but then this guy on the lift was like no it's a southern storm blah blah okemo got more snow. long story short did you really get a foot? if so then why the fuck do I always end up at Okemo on pow days when Killington's got more snow and steeper terrain!!!!!
 
ah sweet, that random old dude on the lift had no idea what was going on. I've been skiing Killington all my life (which coincidentally isn't really that long) and I never get there on a pow day. I reeeeeeally want to go down cascade with a foot of fresh snow. and outer limits. and double dipper. and superstar. and any other trail.

shit, I just want to go skiing.
 
that's sweet man. I also didn't even know that whole sunrise area is still in use. does that lift ever run? I don't think I've been back that way in ages.
 
i think it runs all the time it just sucks cause you have to scramble across flat bottoms and flat green trails to get there
 
timberline-first set of jumps with box and maybe a rail on the side, no more rainbow box just a flat rail, rest of jumps are the same and the last rail was taken out leaving only a box at the end. reason doesnt have a hip anymore, just fuf box, flat rail, down rail, oil jibs, and some others taht were closed off today. the park on bear was completely closed today. everything was melted down a bit. as for the pipe, they were packing it down with the snow cats and it looks like it will be ready to cut in the next few days.
 
sweeeet.well, it could have been right before because it was pretty warm so they probably had to rework everything. how is it now? I'm heading up next weekend, I hate not skiing for a few weeks. I wanna goooooooooooooooooooooooooo, waaaaaaaaaaaaahh! I really do want to go.. haha.
 
well then i guess you will be pretty stoked to be riding down the crossover sat afternnon and see dream maker open after your been riding reason or bear trap all day
 
i just didn't want to get my hopes up cause killy tends to do that, but i have seen some pics and they are makng significant progress with the pipe and dreammaker, should be sick
 
killington says the pipe will open monday and dreammaker will open saturday, hopefully everything's good to go on time
 
where did u see pics of dream maker? it will def be sick cause those piles of snow people call landings are at least ten+ feet taller then last yrs
 
i dont believe that you can ski outer limits all day without having your thighs get tired until the end of the day, unless you have bionic thighs. I challenge you to a ski off!
 
yea dreammaker was sick today. about 8 rails at the top... bonk can. sick down rail. nasty roller coaster. mellow down flat down. big rainbow. trap closed today. sick c rail. jumps, a hip. ya theres that sick rail like 10 feet high or somethin. but i was hittin the 4 jump line. the first and last jump were really fun. they also had a down flat down box that was closed today too. deff worth goin up for the park.
 
ya they were cuttin all day so hopefully tommow. ya and ride killington is up but theres not to much on it hopefully they will get up some pics of each park.
 
If any one goes this week could you let me know how the park is? Schools club is headed up for saturday and I don't want to be too disappointed.
 
sounds awesome. plus it looks like its gonna be cold there all week so might get lucky and have full open mountain. well as "open" as killer gets on a saturday.
 
i remember th epipe was really narrow last year too. Oh well at least there is a pipe! Hopefully they'll improve on the cutting, cause any east coast pipe is icy when its cold out
 
first pipe the cat drivers ever cut. but he sure can build a sick park. it should get better the wider it gets and the more you cut the beter you get
 
damn son. the pics up on ridekillington look sooooo amazing. I'm trippin out right now waitin to head up. How bad does the park get on a saturday right now?

i was just up there for 3 days and let me tell you the park is super nice. a lot better than my home mountain. timberline was a lot of fun with small stuff, bear was small but was nicely set up, and dream maker was just fucking awesome. so smooth, so much stuff haha i can't even put words to it cause ive never seen a park like that before
