Fastest you have ever been in a car

120 in a friends mini-cooper. one of my other friends has a 71 chevelle witha 454 big block in it. that fuckin hauls. scary as shit on the highway man. he got it to 160 and he was still climbin easily.
 
Lay off the kid, he mebbe exagerrating a little, but S2000 are way fast. I bet he was close, and yeah you can shift one at 8500 thats what they are made for really, its not a low end car. For skiierman, I bet that s2000 would munch your camaro on a road course anyway.

I hit 130 in my 79 RX7 on a regular basis on the way to school, and it had like 110 horsepower stock, and I only had a monza exhaust and K 7 n airflow stuff.

Fastest I have ben is 165 in a friends cAMARO ss.

rx-7 are sick. look into the early 90's models with twin turbo rotarys.

morrison drives a 2000 eclipse gt = slow and heavy.

thankyou for defending my s2000, it is a very fast car and there are few things that can outrun it that arent exotic
 
I drive a truck with a 8 inch lift a 350 and 38 inch bogger tires. I go 50 mph everywhere. There are a few cars that would compete with your S2000, but not many. Like you said the Evo and WRX's. Some other stuff to, but its getting more into the driver there really.
 
and about half of the cost of your s2k. i dont think anyone is dogging on your honda, id just like you to get your facts straight. no doubt the s2k is great in the twisties but for the most part if your looking to go at someone else heads up, most likely your going to do it in a straight line(ie drag strip or highway).

cars that come only 6speed with the most powerful engine by far from a 2.0 liter is not a chick car.
 
is at a tsi? because if not, i would rape that car. and if it is, im pretty sure id still rape it.

and yes like the person below you, whoever was driving the s2000 probably missed a shift or has no idea how to drive.
 
130 cruisin to mammoth in my a4. need to get rid of the governor. taller 5th gear would be nice too. feels nice, not scetchy at all
 
Oh no, were not gonna talk about DSMs like that! I dont know what kind of turbo he is running,(and neither do you, so you cant guess) but you wouldnt beat my Talon/Eclipse!
 
AHAHAA idk how fast 170km/h is but ive been 100 in my soft top 93' Jeep YJ hahaha. The fuckin soft doors start flappin n shit you cant even hear yourself scream if you wanted to.

Oh yea, ive been around 110 in my bros trans am...I went 105 in my moms Honda Pilot becuase the rev limiter or govenor w/e kicked in at 105. I also crashed that car going around 95. Told my mom i was going 60...
 
im not even gunna get in this argument about whos car is faster n all this shit, but the only way you chirped the tires going from 2nd to 3rd at 125 is if your car actually goes 125 in 2nd

(which i highly doubt since you said u have a 6 speed which makes all ur gears way lower, so 1st gear with a 6 speed tranny would be lower, making you go slower, than in 1st gear with a 5 speed tranny)

and then you dropped the clutch, revved your engine all the way up to 8500 and popped the clutch. This is what skierman was talking about when he said ur ruining your clutch, which you are no matter if its a fuckin vtec or a fuckin mini van, but sports cars like ur s2000 are made to be driven like a sports car ie high rpm shifting, so ur tranny is fine.
