haven't had many updates for you guys and well, you can look out the window and see its not cold and snowing! Here's a little excerpt from of private forecaster from this morning. It's not the greatest but it does offer a little hope that a change is right around the corner.
"Well, we're making progress, at least the air mass is cooler this morning than we've seen in a couple of days. An area of low pressure is moving across the Pacific Northwest and will slide southeastward through Idaho, Utah and Colorado. The front pushes weakly through us and we see a light east wind tonight. I believe the humidity values remain fairly low, at least low enough for us to get a run at making snow tonight down lower on the mountain. The 700 mb temperatures still remain too warm for us up top. My expectation is that the high pressure, over the next week, shifts off the West Coast and will allow for a cooler air mass over the region and we'll be able to make snow. The models are still all over the place with regards to the details of the change, but they all agree to shift the high west of the coast."
