    Whats the warmest outerwear?

I'm assuming you're gonna be in burlington, northern VT? I graduated UVM last year, and yeah, it gets cold as fuck, i'd even get some insulated regular pants for those nights when you're out partying and then walking up the hill in -30 wind chill. As far as snow pants Oakley makes some puffy...

So im thinking about dying my snow pants...

that certainly will be interesting. Like the guy said before it might screw with the waterproofing, but if they aren't super tech you can prolly re-waterproof them well enough... what kind of pants are they out of curiousity?

I know there has been a lot of these...............Sewing

coolness/lameness of tight pants aside, i'd say there is a really good chance that you're going to totally destroy your pants if you don't know what you're doing , especially if you've never sewed anything before, let alone tech snow pants. dont they sell pants that are tight already?

I live in Colorado, ride like 40% park, 60% other stuff and should have a pair of hellbents for deep snow so im looking for a tree/all mountain ski that is still pretty capable in the park. I've been...

    UVM

damn, UVM is really upping the requirements to get in these days. I just graduated this year and my grades were pretty good in high school but i know kids who got in with under B averages and 1100 on the old SATs (before the writing section). also im pretty sure its actually easier to get in...

    Champlain or Saint Michael's

i dont go to either but I do live in burlington and i'm on both of those campuses all the time,so heres my take. st. mikes -you have to live on campus all 4 years i'm pretty sure, most of the dorms are pretty nice though and you have alot of options as far as living arrangement -little bigger...

    Those that work at Stowe...

thanks for the response. i know it's hard to get the resources to keep these things up and running, and my complaints weren't really at the park crew cus I know you guys tend to get the shaft when it comes to money and cat time. North slope has been pretty sweet this year, my only real...
