The key to you first comp run is to do something that you know you'll nail. That gets you on the board and gets you confidence up. Then, on your next run, push it a little more...As for what tricks to do, choose you best trick combo, but be sure that it is stuff you can stick. On your second...

    Tips for rodeos

Rodeos used to be kind of an off axis back-180. Kind of like what most people are calling flat spins now. These day, people call all kinds of things rodeos. Anyway, I'm going to give you advice on how to throw one that is basically a hybrid between a back-180 and lincoln-180. That's my def...

Problem: off axis in switch spins???

Good advice. I would add that as you throw the spin, think of dropping your lead shoulder just a bit, which will cause you to lean down hill. Usually people are leaning too far forward as they take off and they drop their back shoulder, causing them to cork.

    Hitting a C Box?

As was said before, speed is probably you biggest obstacle. If you're going slow, you can start higher on the box. If you're going fast, you'll have to start lower or you'll fly out. Also, make sure you get all the way to 90. It also helps to think of dropping your lead shoulder just a bit...

    Cork 7's

The primary reasons people don't come back on axis from corked spins is either they don't stay tucked or they don't keep their head in the spin. I don't have time to explain all of it right this second but When you throw your spin, keep it tucked tight as possible and keep looking over your...

    What is This Trick?

If you go straight over the top, it would be a front 1, if your feet go higher than your head but not straight over, it would be a misty. If you're off axis but you feet never go higher than your head, it would be a bio. Under flip is more like a lincoln. It doesn't go forward...

    Fronflips

For a front flip, you don't want a jump that is straight up, but you do want some pop. It is similar to doing it on the trampoline, except you have to wait. (No taking off early...) On the trampoline you can cheat and start rotating before you really take off, on skis you have to wait for...

    Help please

Warm up before hand. Also, try to work your way to the bigger features. Start with ones that you feel comfortable with and keep working your way up. As people were saying, music might help. Doesn't do that much for me but it does for many people. Other then that, you just have to get mad...

    Landing Switch in Pow

Get some fat skis, center mount them, when you land, lean forward. That's most of it. Other than that, it just takes practice and commitment.

    Help on rails

Rail tricks are in your head. Usually takes people a while to learn new things cause they are nervous. I would suggest getting on some boxes. Try 270 on. Try spinning while on the box. On some easy rails try some 270 outs. Just make sure they are rails and boxes you feel comfortable with...

    270 off help please

The rail thing is good advice. If you're spinning blind, it helps to get some momentum at the start of the rail. I throw a little harder when I hope on the rail so I don't have to throw as hard off the end. Course that only works on short to medium length rails...
