Help please

hey i was in the park today, and there were some good sized jumps and rails, ive done similar stuff before but for some reason this season i keep hitting a "mental block" and i just cant hit anything, i dunno what happened, does anyone know some mental tricks to psych myself out to hit the stuff? its making me feel like a pussy
 
going with friends helps a ton because i always feel like I would try to progress more when Im around them and want to hit it better then the guy before me... but also listening to music helps me alot because ill be focusing on the beat and what i want to do instead of being like "shit I am really going to do this?"
 
thanks, ill try the music, idk bout the friends though cuz thats pretty much why i felt like a gaper/pussy, they know i was hitting the shit last season and it was nothing, maybe the music will take my mind off of things, i usually get pretty into the music, hopefully i wont forget to finish rotating midair or something haha

anyone else got some good ideas?
 
i like the music idea, i also run into a similar mental block i aleways try to work on the tricks i know i can pull then it just kind of gos away
 
i had the same thing last year til the last 3 weeks of the season then all of a sudden i started progressing like it was my job.

going with friends or guys that are better or help motivate you is the best way to go, throw some music into the mix and you'll be throwin down before you realize it.

Warm up before hand. Also, try to work your way to the bigger features. Start with ones that you feel comfortable with and keep working your way up. As people were saying, music might help. Doesn't do that much for me but it does for many people. Other then that, you just have to get mad and do it.
 
well if ur with people that are just making u feel shitty cuz you arent pulling something then u should probably ditch them for a while and just hit one thing over and over to get back into the swing of things and it'll probably come back, i totally ate it my first few hits this year but after that i was back at the level i was last season
