I bought a pre owned pair of invaders from 08 and rode them for 2 seasons. Zero edge cracking or anything, bindings gave out first lol. Riding Future spins right now and they are still super durable as of now. I think its really just hit or miss as far as skis, and how you ski i guess.
The Full Tilt one couldn't be more true. Told to one of my friends that his Tom Wallisch were one size too big and too narrow for him and he respond: yeah but I can't imagine myself with anything else in my feet
As for the Line slogan, my Line TC are still holding pretty well after a season of pretty much just hitting rails, they've lasted me longer than my Recoils, which quite surprises me
these were unreal hahaha full tilt made me lose it
but the line one couldn't be more wrong for me, i've had blends for 2 seasons, one of which was riding hard in whistler and they are just starting to show signs of wear, i'm with trevor on this one, some skis fall apart, some don't, and i think it has a lot to do with how you ride as well
I hope everyone doesn't take the Line one as an attack on the company. They make some of the raddest skis and they do/have done more for our community than is recognized. I haven't even ridden a pair personally, but would be stoked on some Opuses or EP Pros. That said, it seems like there's an overall sentiment on this site that they don't last long, which I capitalized off of for the sake of the joke.
