FS: Dynastar Larose's w/ Look PX 12, Rossignol Power 110 (Axials), Rossignol Axial2 140 TI WB

Need some cash so I'm selling stuff that I'm probably not going to use. First up, Dynastar Phil Larose pro model w/ Look PX 12s. Mounted at recommended for a 27.5 boot. Awesome ski, but can't use them anymore because of a blown patella. I skied on them for exactly 1 hour then waxed them 3...

FS: Dynastar Larose Pro model (182) w/ Look PX12s

Have a pair of Dynastar Phil Larose (pro model) mounted with Look PX12s. Mounted at recommended with Look PX12s to a 325mm boot sole. These are the same skis as the original Troublemaker but stiffer due to more fiberglass in its construction. Waxed em 3 times since the last time I rode them...

    Bending brakes

Heating the metal up and letting them cool will cause them to become harder, but also more brittle. Ideally you should heat them, bend them, heat them up again, then quench them to maintain some sort of temper, otherwise they'll be fragile. Myself, I just bend the crap out of them until they fit.

    Toe Height

The P/PX toepiece should be a little higher I think. The FKS toepiece doesnt have the axitec 2 AFD, just the teflon AFD, so it should be not as high.

Look P12 (with turntable heel) $145 shipped

Rossignol and Look wanted to change up their design because it was dated. The new PX and Axial2 line is supposed to have more forward pressure than the older design. The toepiece remained the same. The heelpiece still has the same amount of elastic travel (25mm), but no longer has the pivot...

    P12 screws?

I wouldn't use hardware store screws. They're nowhere near the same as ski binding screws. Binding screws have a posidrive head, are usually flat, have a coarse thread, have a locking head, etc. It'll probably work, but I wouldn't suggest it, especially if there's a shop in your area.

WTB: 04/05 Look Pivot JIG / Salomon Jig

My shop might have an old look Pivot (Rossi Axial) jig we could sell... I'd have to check on the condition as it has been abused a bit. Works fine last time I checked though (when I mounted my TMs). If my shop has a newer pivot jig that we can still use, then I wouldn't mind selling this old jig.

    Cold weather question

snow temperature of -25. I've skiied in conditions where it's -50 with windchill... I went inside after a couple runs. Most resorts will close too if it's too cold, so the only place to really ski when it's frigid is in the BC.

    Cold weather question

Shouldn't hurt them at all. I've skied in conditions as cold as -25 celcius/-10 farenheit and the skis held up fine. The cracking sound you hear is most likely the epoxies in the ski cracking a bit. If you start to see a delam somewhere, then you should be a bit concerned, otherwise they'll be...

    Look binding hole patterns

Sorry, need to clarify... Axium, Axial2, PX, and Novas all have the same pattern as each other...

    Look binding hole patterns

FKSs have one specific pattern Pivots have another specific pattern Axium, Axial2, PX, and Novas have the same pattern

    SUPER GLUE.

dude, if you leave a coreshot open, you're gonna force moisture into your core. That'll result in either the core getting really soft and rotting, or another big chunk getting ripped out when you run over another rock. Moisture in the base can also cause delams given enough time. Get it fixed...
