does it hurt the skis if you use them in oh say.......... *19 degree weather al day???? i tried to flex my scratches when i got back home, an there were a bunch of cracking noises. is this bad????

Shouldn't hurt them at all. I've skied in conditions as cold as -25 celcius/-10 farenheit and the skis held up fine. The cracking sound you hear is most likely the epoxies in the ski cracking a bit.

If you start to see a delam somewhere, then you should be a bit concerned, otherwise they'll be fine.

-25, that's it.

i've skied numerous times in like -40 weather. And ya the skis hold up fine.

snow temperature of -25. I've skiied in conditions where it's -50 with windchill... I went inside after a couple runs.

Most resorts will close too if it's too cold, so the only place to really ski when it's frigid is in the BC.

DO NOT BRING THEM INSIDE.....if the the weather is cold out there...leave them outside. I don't know what happens but if your skis are cold, and you bring them into a warm temp it really weekens the epoxy holding your skis together. Ive seen many a ski expload for nothing because of this.

So if I skied the day in really cold temps, can I just leave them in the garage so it's not a big 'temp change' or what, leaving them outside seems strange, and I want my skis to be comfy

some racers say that bringin them inside can mess up your bases and the wax too if it is a really drastic change. ive never seena ski explode b.c of this but i bet it could really mess them up.

quick temperature change will hurt basically anything. So yeah keep em in the garage after a super cold day, or slowly warm them up

i hate retards like you. you ski on snow. snow it only around when its cold.

i hope you get hit by a train

doesn't seem like something worth worrying about to me man I'd just go ski and leave your shit wherever you want as long as its some sort of shelter, my skis live in my dorm now, but a at home they'd be in my garage or my basement it doesn't really matter, somtimes I'd just leave them on my roof if I parked in the garage.

dude, settle down, i just think they should be made to with stand extremely cold temos without being damaged at all.
