Look P12 (with turntable heel) $145 shipped

these look much different than the regular look p12, is that becuase they are the "racing" model?

yeah, i figured they were different than the axial and the p12 jibs, heel design looks identical to the fks series

for real, let's not post ebay auctions that aren't yours unless it's a joke. if you really wanted these bindings you would be searching ebay almost daily for them and find them on your own. i'm just glad i bought mine before this was posted and they sold out. i ALMOST waited til monday though, I would have been real argo if they had sold out.

yeah, i saw those today, but didn't buy em. i also found some used rossi fks for $55 and used look tt 9.0 for $45, and also didn't react. and now they're gone, damnit!

they probably lasted 6 hours tops out of a 7 day listing.

Rossignol and Look wanted to change up their design because it was dated. The new PX and Axial2 line is supposed to have more forward pressure than the older design. The toepiece remained the same.

The heelpiece still has the same amount of elastic travel (25mm), but no longer has the pivot feature. It's debatable whether the new design is better or not because of the way the boot releases.

Its a little off topic, but I thought there was a difference between a "turntable" and pivot". I thought the FKS had a "pivot(360 degrees)" while the p10, p12 were turntable since they only moved like 45 degrees in each direction. Correct me if I'm wrong...

So they came today and I'm pretty fucking stoked. I need to get them mounted ASAP.

Will you need to bend them to get them over the waist on your watchlifes? Those are my next ski, and ill be putting some 120's on them too.

From 1-10, 1 being extremely little and 10 being a lot of force, it took about a 3 to get these around the waist. like if I just placed them there, they wouldn't fit around, but if I push down on them they do. There is only a 3mm difference in the brake/waist widths. Not sure if this makes sense.

It's at all debatable!

If you actually take an P series binding with the pivot feature and a new PX binding and inspect them closely you will notice there is a lot more lateral release from the heel piece. How? The heel cup on the binding has been moved back no longer restricting the sides of the heel and eliminating the need for the pivot heel.

This whole craze with peopel buying up FKS and P series bindings is going to lead to nothing more than more torn acl's and blown apart knees. A lot of you probably have a DIN setting around 6 meaning that if you get a P18 or FKS 185, your DIN isn't even on that binding and therefore increasing the risk of a blown knee. Is looking cool that important?

Damn it! I wish I had gotten a black pair. If only I knew they were going back up. Oh well. Blue isn't THAT bad I guess.

You sure know your stuff!

I ride at an 8-9 typically. I got the FKS 120's. People kept saying, "Get the 155's". I just laughed. I dont need a 15 DIN, and the vertical toe release on the 120's in a huge benefit in the park!

i normally ride at a 7 or 8..if i would get a din 10 binding..yes they are cheaper and thats the reason why..would it work the same as a 12din bindings..or would i be pushing on the 10din if i had it set at 7or8

exactly why i got the fks120. i loved the P series because of how durable they were for me. yeah, the PX heel definitely skis better, and it releases as well, if not more accurately than the P series, but I hate how they prerelease like no other unless you have the forward pressure cranked, and i also don't like the really long screw pattern, especially on softer skis where you actually can notice a difference in flex between the old and new bindings.
