Look binding hole patterns

FKSs have one specific pattern

Pivots have another specific pattern

Axium, Axial2, PX, and Novas have the same pattern

Not unless you want to put a few more holes in the ski, I want to say the toe pattern is the same (could be wrong), but the heel is most definitely not the same.

depending on what FKS you have (when they were made), the toe piece holes might be the same. my gold FKS 120's are.

ah, I thought it was a typo, the S being right next to the X and all...In that case, I'm fairly sure the screw patterns are different, but I don't have any FKX bindings to look at so I can't guarantee that. The heel pieces for sure are different. the FKX heel piece mounting pattern is pretty tight, whereas the PX is longer, so you could probably get away with mounting them a 3rd time.

If I remember correctly, the FKX and FKS are practically the same binding with regard to mounting pattern. So I'd pick up some FKS 120s and call it good. What exactly did they say is wrong with your FKXs?

would an FKS 120 have the same mounting pattern as some FKS style p12s (the ones that look exactly like FKS but say "look" and "pivot" on them instead) ???

FKX and FKS=same everything

FKX/FKS/PIVOT=same toe, but the pivots have DIFFERENT HEEL

px's, same toe as everything, but different heel. px heel same as nova heel.

In conclusion:

All these bindings have the same toe pattern but different heels except for the FKX and FKS wich have the same heel.

I don't know why you're finding this such a hard decision. If you want new bindings on your skis, get them mounted. There is no issue here.
