Cell Phone Ownage

So last night my parents held a big Christmas party at my house. i came in early from my evening adventures at 10 30 to be greeted by a neighbour holding a beer up for me. Im 17, and my parents are kinda hard asses on drinking, but ive slowly started to get through them, i come home drunk and stuff but never passing out drunk. WELL, last night, i had the most in my life. With my parents. haha it was the funniest thing ever. Anyways, where this thread is going is i wake up to the smell of puke at noon. I look over and my covers, bed siding, and the floor are covered in puke. Then i see a bump in it. Yep, its my cell phone. Fucking owned. So i cleaned everything up, took my battery out of my cell and cleaned the whole thing, then i go to turn it back on and its not working. Right now im letting it all dry and ill try it in an hour or something. What can i do that will get it to work?
 
haha. i cant help you on that one tho. might aswell just get a new one that doesnt make you gag everytime you use it.
 
well i cleaned it well. it doesnt smell at all anymore. im just hoping when i try it out later it turns on, i think its all i can do.
 
You should take it in to your mobile provider and see what they say. Just be vague and say you had a helluva party the night before, you woke up and your phone didn't work.

If they ask what might've happened, suggest that you may have puked on it.
 
my friend dropped his phone in a parkingl ot and went back like 45 minutes later and it was frozen and it won't work now. hopefully puke doesn't have the same affect.
 
my phone is now dust in the wind. my brother has the same type, diff model, same battery, i tried his battery too and it didnt work either. Guess its time for a new one. Damnit.
 
you gotta open that shit up and let it air out man. I've dropped my cel phone in my hot tub twice, firs ttime i didnt air it out and the shit was done, second time i took it apart right away, aired it out over night and it worked fine. Unfortunately you let yours sit in puke overnight, i hate to say it but therse pretty much no chance that its gonna work. One other thing you could try is a different battery if a friend has the same phone, my friend dropped his in the shitter and the only thing that got fucked up was the battery and when he switched it it worked. wiel glück.
 
haha thats great man.. the first time I ever got waisted was with my rents... I was 17 too and I pretty much did the same thing, puked all over my self. Didn't bust up my phone though.

Funny story, I actually got waisted again with my rents last wednesday night, i'm 23 now so its kinda different. anyways what happend was my GF and I cooked my parents dinner. It ended up that the 4 of us drank 4 bottles of wine and a half bottle of teqilla. We were all late for work the next day!! hahha
 
is it considered sad if i were to say that i drink more when i'm at home with the rents than i do in college?
 
so i just got home from getting a new one. and the old one, is still sitting on my desk, BUT ITS WORKING. wtf? regardless, i needed a new phone, i had my old one for a long time. But now i have 2 working cell phones. Yikes.
 
i swam with my cell phone for an hour one time, and it stopped working totally. I ordered a new one a day later, and then my old one started working again. Always wait a week or so to see if it starts working again. you will save yourself. As for leaving phones in airports though..

as for your 2 working phones thing, just sell your old one or something....dont tell them you puked on it tho
 
its 2 years old. i will just use the battery as a back up, and the charger as a back up. i needed a new phone anyways so this was a good thing to have happen
 
I leave anything valuable in my car when I get drunk, and I leave my car at one of my friends houses and get a ride to wherever I'm getting drunk at, so far I haven't lost anything or ruined anything, just gotten shirts dirty and shorts, last night I ran out of my friends house drunk off my ass and tried to stop before I ran into my friends van and I couldn't cause I was on mud and I slipped and fell on my ass and slid so I was mostly under his car.

Mmmm, I got off topic, well anyway sucks about your cell.
 
i put my phone through the washer. i was hoping it would dry out and work again but same problem. i had to get a new one too

 
i dont know if it works but try soaking it in alcohol like over night

and then let it dry out again and give it a shot
