What's on your mind - Ladies edition

im grumpy cause i had a 5 day streak at the mountain this week and my progression was shit - learned one small thing on rails but thats all. sigh.

conditions were super windy and lots of powder so the park was weird but still. Makes me feel like i wasted a bunch of days.

Nahh you can't have any good days or progression without a whooooole bunch of bad days. Sometimes I get bummed about not learning anything over a weekend of skiing, but if you're still out there skiing and trying anything at all, it's better than nothing. A day skiing is still better than a day not skiing!

I know I have a problem when I see 5 day streak and I thought you were gonna say you were grumpy cause you lost a 5 day streak on snapchat.

But then I remembered it's snapchat and even I wouldn't get upset over losing a 5 day streak.

I spent a shit ton of time in the trees with the 2+ feet of fresh powder we got this past week so I guess I got some progression in there - but youre right! I guess im just a bit too focused on the park sometimes and need to appreciate other skiing as well lolol

I just signed up for my first rail jam - my hands were shaking when I was signing the waiver

IM SO NERVOUS AND SO EXCITED

watched it last year - two girls competed and they were boarders who just hit everything 50/50 sooo
 
On Valentine's Day last year I was in a toxic relationship (but didn't know it), I was on crutches with a torn ACL, and I got a fat speeding ticket for going 65 in a 35 zone without a license.

What a year it's been, my friends. So thankful for everything I've been through this last year and everybody that's come in (and out) of my life. I'm radiating gratefulness today.
 
did some urban late last night on campus and ran into another skier and snowboarder doing the same. We all ended up cleaning up a gap jump over a main path and making a super clean in-run and good times were had.

Got some students to stop and stand in the gap to be jumped over lol

Also made some new shred buddies so thats cool too!

rail jam at mt snow?? i spent the past week up their teaching and the powder was sweet, but i only got to hit the park twice :( the jump line was so sick though on nitro

nah its on my campus (UMass)

also sick!! the past week was awesome with the snow!! Thursday and friday was super nice days in the park - tho half the park was closed due to rebuild.. Saturday was a work day for me so I was super busy - but then Sunday was nice with the fresh pow coming down! They rebuilt the jumps and theyre so much nicer now.. Monday ended up just being a trees day cause the wind was so strong that it was really messing me up on hits - but there was freshies every run down the trees cause the wind kept blowing more snow in and smoothing everything over.
 
Went skiing with a boy, he bought me pizza and French fries, and we cuddled all night so that was adorable

Slightly annoyed that, as skiers, we have to take our skis/bindings somewhere to get mounted and then wait for them to be done and then when snowboarders get new bindings they just whip out screwdrivers, throw em on and its all good.

Like fack why are we being punished.

And snowboarders are always dealing with lose bindings and screws falling out!

Skis are better and require more professional work because they're more intense ;)

Much more dynamic than a snowboard. Cause we're the elite ones here

no i totally feel that struggle as well - esp when the shop takes forever to finally get to your skis. New set-ups are the best!
 
I have a goddamed uti :( I have interstitial cystitis, so I used to get one about every month, but I haven't had one for over a year and now I am sad.

I've lost 10 pounds in 10 days from skiing hard and having no money for food lol. I like that when I try to lose weight I don't but then I don't try and I lose too much at once

haha I've caught them all. Between a cup or ranch today and the massive portion sizes here I've put on so much weight. I love ranch so much though so it's so worth it.

My boyfriends birthday is tomorrow and I am so excited. We are headin to Crested Butte on Friday morning, and just doing drinks and Mexican food tomorrow. He hasn't skied anything but our home mountain since he was 2 yrs old... he will be turning 24. I can't wait to show him how awesome it is to discover other resorts. Its also our first ski vacation just the two of us, and I am surprising him with a new coat. So Stoked!!!!

Political boys are so fucked. Currently getting slammed in a political group for being 'a whore' by a bunch of weirdos. Even if I were a whore they would have no idea because they're too chicken shit to even talk to me.
 
I'm just thinking of how my tastes in men can be on both sides of the spectrum. From the likes of Stephen Amell to that of Grant Gustin :D :D
