What's on your mind - Ladies edition

I'm judging a local comp tomorrow. My boyfriend and two of my good friends are judging with me, and I'm the first girl to judge it!!! I'm STOKED!!
 
I'm gonna need new boots soon and I'm so mad that full tilt doesn't have boots smaller than 22.5 anymore. I need a 22 and they used to sell that argh. 22.5 is ok for like a month but as soon as the liner packs out i'm fucked.

You should take a look at intutions powerwrap plus gold liner. It's made to take up space for people that are in a boots slightly too big. I love my intuitions, they keep my feet super warm and drastically improved my heel and ankle hold. So ladies, it was one hell of a trip to Crested Butte this weekend. Not only was it my boyfriend and I's first vacation alone. It was some of the best weather, food, and drinks I have ever had. Oh also, I got proposed to on the mountain!!! I now have a fiancé!!!

ooo maybe i will get a new liner and use my old shells (i'm a little partial to my happy gold boots) and see how i like it before i get some totally new boots. thanks!
 
Driving out to hood the second week of May after finals to ski for a good 9 days till may 25 :") - when the spring pass ends.

Super excited that I actually have a feasible plan to ski somewhere that isn't in the northeast :")

I've always wanted to head to hood in may.

You should also consider Woodward at Copper's public park sessions! I went every weekend in September without a pass. It was $25 a day, but it was a blast and requires little to no planning. They're open every weekend from sometime in June to September! Met some extraordinary skier ladies there that helped me progress more than I ever half in the past.

oh sick! If im ever out there later in the summer I will totally do that - missed the after june part so i was all like oh hey thats an easy stop to add into the trip! but oh well!!

They didn't flip seats last night on a lift with 175 chairs and we got 5" of super heavy wet snow last night and I had to fire it up at 6:30 am for patrol and spent over an hour getting snow off the chairs which isn't my job but the fucking liftys didn't show up til 8. I let em have it once they finally did show up
 
Does anyone have any old snowboarding boots/ bindings lying around ???

i wear like a size 6 shoe with a narrow foot.

Want to get my Casi (snowboard cert) so i get paid more hahah

don't get rid of your callus's. They're good for you. You'll just continue to get blisters and grosser feet. Keep them, they'll protect your feet! They make be hard and crusty but they're badass.

When I did gymnastics I had fucking disgusting hands from bars and one time..ONE FUCKING TIME... I put lotion on and the next day i regretted it with 150% of my soul. Never again dude. Never. ever. ever.
 
I've slept at my boyfriends likewverynightfor a while and I'm sleeping in my bed right now and feel weird as fuck.

Having lost a toenail before I sympathize. If you catch it early and drill a hole through the nail to the let the blood/ pus out you can save the nail. I successfully saved a nail with this method after slamming my toe on a different occasion.

Consider looking into better footbeds. I haven't had a problem with slamming my toes since I got better made custom footbeds. I already had custom footbeds before but they were unposted and crap. You really have to get them from someone who knows their shit.

lol I currently have 2 missing big toenails thanks to skiing. I reccomend calling the toe-truck.

I did it - though I had to hold my breath a lot and try not to look at it too much. It's gone. RIP little guy. I'll always remember you as my first. Hopefully the other doesn't go too...

Also I think I just had the bad habit of landing backseat early this season. I definitely stopped doing it at this point but it was too late for my toe nails haha. Lesson learned.

Good to know that I can save it though by drilling a hole sooner than later

not landing backseat and footbeds should d the trick. Make sure you trim the new one frequently (and safely) to ensure it doesn't come in ingrown
 
did my makeup nice with winged eyeliner for the first time in like a year.. ended up crying it off within a few hours.

It's pretty annoying that the only people using the #nspinknames tag in the video section are guys. There have even been a few uploads by actual pink names and they forgot or didn't know or want to tag themselves. Kind of a bummer that the tag isn't working as intended.

I'm living in Killington, only an hour and a half away, I hit Burly all the time tho. And the pink name S.M.G. (my girl honor) totally lives up there!
