Any particular brands you guys like? I'm shopping for school clothes and I just was wondering what your guys' opinion on pants was.

 
Well, you could have definitely posted better looking jeans as examples...

Anyways, I own 2 pairs of old navy slimmer fitting jeans (i think they are old navy, anyways). I wear them until they get visibly dirty or start to smell, throw them in the hamper and wear the second pair. No need for any more than that imo.
 
That is exactly what I do. I decided to change one of the pairs because it has a giant pen stain in one of the pockets.
 
Well it isn't always about the look. I own a couple pairs of somewhat expensive ones because they are comfortable as hell. Something about the denim and the sizing is just right. But I understand where you're coming from with the $300 jeans.. I guess by designer I meant like specific jean companies. Not just Volcom ones or American Eagle or whatever
 
I like comune jeans. some of them are tight, but there is NO FUCKING WAY someone will confuse them with girls soft stretchy jeans.
 
the problem is that some of them are handwash only(you can put them in some washing machines, so check before you order.
 
I've got a pair of matix's "miner" jeans that I'm stoked on. The fit is on point. Also levi's 501s are always good.
 
if you are spending $300 on jeans then they are most likely "raw denim", which is the untreated, highest quality denim. It's the kind of denim that you don't wash for almost a year to get sick fades out of them, and they last a while after that even. I just got a pair of raw denim jeans (levis STF 501s, $35) and I immediately prefer them to any rinsed or pretreated jean because they look nicer and are more comfortable

i also have a pair of vans jeans but the fit is very uncomfortable. the crotch is too high and the waist is way too big. i always get a wedgie when i wear them
 
yeah every time it gets hot out so like every summer i just take all my jeans and burn them because i don't need them its hot i'll wear shorts and never buy jeans again
 
what kind of jeans are you wearing? yeah they get soaked because they are made of cotton but most tall tees you see are cotton too and the bottoms get soaked too.. they really aren't that cold for me living in Idaho where it gets negative temperatures occasionally in the winter time. I've never had a pair leak dye.. I've never worn a pair that has stretched out so I couldn't wear them either.. And are they really that restricting? Go skating sometime and see how good they are for protection and how they really don't inhibit your movement that much anyways. Most guys can't split their legs more than their jeans let them really
 
i agree that it is ridiculous that we still wear them but a) they look good b) they're cheap and c) pretty much every person in america owns a pair. Just curious, what do you wear in the winter instead?
