What jeans are you wearing?

As much as I love cords/chinos, I could never wear them to do yard work in then wear them out at night without having to clean them

denim is just practical

Except most people don't need water resistent, self cleaning, 4 way stretch, breathable, quick drying, odor resistent, wrinkle resistent pants. I also don't see why you're complaining that jeans aren't good for doing athletic things like climbing/slacklining. No shit, they were invented as a durable piece of workwear. They weren't and still aren't made for athletics.

Matix all the way. the fit with Matix is definitley great. Slim enough to be stylish but loose enough to not look like a flamer. plus they are designed to be worn at the waist with back pockets full of shit which i love.

I have one pair of matix that I got hand-me-down from my brother, which are the most comfortable jeans I've ever had, and two pairs of freeworlds.

Bullhead Dillon skinnys and levi 511s.. best fit and look imo

My favorite's are Nudie Grim Tim Org. Dry Selvage.

I have like six pair of those.

And yes Grim Tim because I'm skinny and selvage because I'm ooh so hipster.

Just bought a pair of kind of higher cut, skinny black jeans for like 11 euros from (ugh) Forever 21. So cheap but they make my butt look good, so I'm happy.

nothing looks better, IMO, than a girl in tight dark jeans, rolled up just past their ankle, with a pair of low top shoes on like toms or vans classics. mmmmmm

All I currently own right now are Wrangler FR jeans for work, usually I wear Levi's regular fit. Me gusta.

It's the overall experience with a pair of jeans, especially nicer ones.

You get them and they're sort of blocky and stiff but over time they become yours- they mold to your body, they wear and change color in some areas, your pockets even adjust to your phone, wallet, pocket knife and such. They soften and become just oh-so familiar to you and your life. You know this. It's nothing new. The fact that denim is so durable AND so comfotable makes it a years-long experience to wear in and finally destroy a pair of jeans and I for one am bummed when I finally have a knee breach that destroys itself via a toe stirrup rip whilst putting them on. It's like I killed a service animal or lost a friend or something. It'll literally take months or even years to get that level of go-to familiarity and comfort back hahaha

A pair of jeans isn't just a pair of jeans, it's an extension of yourself. Somehow I think of jeans as being a higher eschelon than most other clothes. No idea why, they're just superior despite their technological impracticality- maybe it's their classic appeal or their durability or that perfect fit but thank the lawd that denim isn't going anywhere. However- If you wear denim skiing, you really do deserve to be cold and wet, and have your balls so cold your jizz is frozen into a slushie as you're just being an idiot slave to fashion and that's what you get.

bought crockers for like $10. I really enjoy them, really flexible, durable and all that. You don't have to worry about your jeans, it looks good and you're ready to do sports. (sometimes I'm afraid of jeans when flipping. Like it's not flexible enough. But not anymore!)

same. 2 pairs of skinny/slims for $50.

Also, got some cotton/denim khakis from Cotton On, for like $10 and they are great.

I used to have 1 pair of jeans, Levis. Then my girlfriend started working at Buckle, and decided it was time for some new jeans that actually fit me and looked nice... Got these two

Needless to say they fit very well and she was right.

FWIW, this is pretty much my perfect pair.

514 Slim straight leg. Classic, durable, good looking, not crazy expensive, enough to roll a little cuff with nice boots or shoes, fits me perfect and the smidge of spandex in the fabric really makes them super comfortable, even at the beginning of break in. I also like contrast stitching personally. I could never go skinnier though. Aside from not wanting to look like I robbed a 21 forever, my legs barely fit in my 514s comfortably. Also I really like my Lucky jeans as well. The zipper fortune cracks me up every time.

Yeah, on girls maybe. You honestly can't say that rock revival jeans look sick. I mean, you look worse than mike the fuckin situation walking around in em. They're baggy as hell and I can't even begin to describe whats goin on with the back pockets. And anyone who wears them can't just toss on a regular T-shirt to go with it because you have to wear something equally as gay up top like affliction or ed hardy or somethin you'd only want to see on the ultimate fucking fighter.

As for me i'm wearing a pair of WESC jeans, straight leg no holes or rips. Paid a little more than I usually tend to for jeans but they are my favorite pair by far.

Rocks are fucking awful. But if you look at the jeans I posted earlier. The Buffalos are great. They are a nice comfortable pair of jeans that dont have all that fucking detail on the pockets. You can find nice classy jeans that dont have all that bullshit.

The only issue with true is that, I find myself wearing them once every two weeks or so. Since they are a little obnoxious with the horseshoe, it takes me forever to break a pair in.

Quotes from the Lookbook cult:

"selvedge is the shit I just wish I liked wearing jeans more."

"to be completely honest, I love the way new raw denim looks"

Get off your high horse Kellen.

I"ve begun to basically only buy my jeans from European companies. They always have to most comfy skinny jeans i can find. Picked up a pair of skinny chinos from Pull and Bear a couple months ago when i was in Spain and back home i just picked up some jeans from Zara. Both are like my favorite Clothing companies that have nothing to do with skiing. But i do still like my Bullhead skinniest and Levi 510/511.

Well a fabric's ability to shed nonstop bukakke fountains for hours at a time is a pretty tough criteria to nail down. Kellen.

I am not currently wearing jeans considering it is 104 degrees Fahrenheit here in Wisconsin.

But otherwise I rotate between Levi's Khakis and just reg. Levi's jeans.
