True Religions are shitty jeans for the price you pay. The quality of the denim is poor & they're not how they used to be. Plus they just look stupid now, especially the older you get.

Also, the jeans you posted up as "designer" are ugly as fuck.

Next, if you want good jeans, invest is Ksubi, N&F, Dsquared2, Hudson, Dior Homme, etc. Those are good "designer" jeans. Selvedged denim & raw denim will usually cost you more but good jeans are an investment.

Lastly, don't buy bootcut unless you want to look like a dumbo.

jeans are timeless. they go well with pretty much everything casual and dont get dirty easily. and if you really want to do something active in jeans, get some with a bit of spandex.
 
Have a few pairs of 511's, one pair black, another greyish, but not denim, and they are the best jeans ever!

I also enjoy Nudie Jeans and Scotch and Sodas.

Another brand to look into is Allsaints, unbelievably nice stuff.
 
some rvca in a brownish color, ag jeans in a dark wash, some worn looking mavi ones, and some 7 dark wash. and then some cheap levis for work

Only pair of jeans I have. I only wear one pair, and they usually last me 10-14 months.

I used to have these, and can't find them any more.

MEK are ugly & shitty jeans. I'd take trues over MEK's any single day. the ones you posted right now are ugly as fuck too.
 
They are shitty, I'll give you that. I just ripped a big hole in the ass of mine the other day from sitting down. That's all it took. I won't be buying them again. But I do kind of like the look. It's probably because I'm in high school and my idea of "fashion" is warped because it's basically just trendy stuff that other people around me are wearing. And yeah Trues are probably my favorite
