I still see fake film burns being used in HD edits and I wish people would stop. If you don't want to film videos on obsolete film cameras, then don't. Adding fake film burns, grain, or any filters/effects to make your HD video look older is lazy and looks terrible.

totally depends on how you do it. I agree that stock fs to sw looks super underwhelming. Fs to sw with any sort of ollie out or tailpress looks nice to me. To me it's in the same category as 2 to fw, sw lip to fw, kfed, etc. Not an inherently a good looking trick but can be done nicely

On a serious note, there are a lot of young and impressionable kids out there. I used to be one of them. Never bought dope snow thank god but I did have a virtika jacket way back in the day. People have the ability to learn what's wack and make smarter decisions, especially if they have good role models

They aren't even comp skiers tho, and there's always been insanely gross skiers who weren't in the comp scene who would just go around cleaning up rail jams. About 10 years ago we had Eliot Deleo just smoking kids in those comps (he still is, goat) and it's the exact type of person that not only deserves to win, but deserves to get paid lol

A few of them made a single top sheet that I kinda like that bumps them down to only 99% shitty top sheet art. Shout out Thanos Dog.

There's only a solid 3-4 ski brands rn that either make a ski I can't find from another company with a better top sheet or they just make good top sheets.

Also completely unrelated to this; I would've won the ON3P top sheet contest if it wasnt completely rigged and if the people who run ON3P weren't Portland Pussys. On the bright side though, I don't have to worry about selling a pair of ON3Ps anytime soon.
