Parks are made perfectly for us to savagely rip them up. Why would you go to the streets instead of going to the park where you can do the coolest tricks in a safer environment?

Street parts drop in the fall, same with most season edits and movies. Seasons not over for a decent chunk of the country and Europe

Personally I feel Andri is the best skier on the comp circuit. Here are three reasons why andri ragettli should be acknowledged as the GOAT of skiing.

Primarily, Andri doesn't film any stupid-ass ski edits that are extremely annoying. I appreciate the fact that he is committed to making the money. Skiing is all about trying to get as many youtube sponsors as possible so that you can continue skiing for all of your life.

Secondly, Andri continues to progress the sport of skiing. He is increasing spinnage daily. What is a trick if you aren't spinning as much as possible. It looks really cool when they are straight up in the air spinning and they spin so fast like the things in a car wash.

Thirdly, Andri is almost solely committed to the jumps. He does just the minimum on rails to get the wins. I appreciate this because rails don't really matter so there is no point in spending time to progress the tricks on rails.

In conclusion Andri is committed to the core.

me reading the first bit :0

me reading the last line :(

Bdog is still better lol, recently unlocked nollie bio 7

Bad example cuz young snow has had Nollie bio 7s and nollie misty variations for a couple years lol, max doing them with blunts now. He's as progressive now as b dog was 10 years ago

valid take, haven’t seen any swadburg footy in a hot min thoo

Not certain but I'm pretty sure he got bodied last season and that's why he wasn't really in 'delete'. But the last movie he was in before that was August light so that's recent enough for me to say current

a heavy ski setup is just as effective in park as a light ski setup. weight does not matter

Facts. The only time it kinda matters is if ur ollieing onto something high but I think atp if more of a flex thing

I prefer the weight honestly I’m a big dude so I like the feeling of throwing the skis around

What are u all on? Weight 100% effects how a set up rides.

Affecting* the ride slightly doesn't mean it matters. I guess it does matter though. I feel more confident the skis won't break and will support me skiing if they're a little heavy. That makes me feel like I ski better. Light skis have never made me able to spin any faster or grabs easier

Yeah I can feel a difference. I, also, feel it in my hips in the air when I set a spin over 180 on a heavier ski.

This one is related and will probably be really popular on this site but heavy ass ski setups > lighter ones all the time for inbounds

Stiff skis > soft skis any day of the week in the park. You can butter the shit out of stiff skis fairly easily and being able to actually land tricks and hit big jumps without landing completely bolts is pretty cool too.

however soft skis > stiff skis in an all mtn setting.

i’m honestly a fan of stiff skis always and everywhere, but i can respect skiers who like the feel of a softer park ski, i think that they can contribute to having a certain style that i like.

How the fuck do skiers actually just hit flat tubes for an entire day and not get bored.

I see people do this all the time and they wont even try techy shit just switchups and different spin combos. Not even hating but like how do people actually enjoy flat tubs that much someone explain

So many of the days I’ve skied have been at super beat tiny Midwest hills where a flat tube was often the only feature that wasn’t a total catastrophe. We definitely did get bored though. That’s why I do the majority of my skiing outside Ohio now despite still living here

This opinion is so invalid as you yourself said you haven’t even skied a double black diamond.

I could hit and have hiked flat tubes for hours at a time. They are easy to do tech tricks on and falling doesn't hurt. Why would I risk falling trying something hard on a tall scary rail when there is a perfectly good flat tube that I can try a bunch of different combos and never be afraid of dieing

Because some people are not lazy fucks and prefer to hike a feature to progress, you fucking idiot.

1. Rich women who ride horses in Aspen shouldnt be asking for donations for their ski movies.

2. Excluding men from stuff and doing "female only" doesnt help end misogyny, it helps emboldens it.

3. Letting your horses shit cover the entire side if a mountain should come with a very hefty fine.

(Saw a bunch of horse shit on the side of a mountain and it had me thinkin bout laura ngl)

horse comments are accurate but I can't understand the logic for your second point

I still see fake film burns being used in HD edits and I wish people would stop. If you don't want to film videos on obsolete film cameras, then don't. Adding fake film burns, grain, or any filters/effects to make your HD video look older is lazy and looks terrible.
