Gonna go one by one here:
~11% of US citizens lack a government-issued photo ID. Those most affected tend to be from lower socioeconomic backgrounds or are young adults between 18-24. Gaining an ID costs money, whether it's getting a birth certificate re-issued by the government, traveling to an ID office, or taking time off from work.

Furthermore, not all IDs are created equal. Some states allow certain forms while disallowing others. There's no consistency. For instance, for a long time Wisconsin policy allowed for active duty military ID cards but prohibited VA ID cards. Explain the logic there. Thankfully someone saw the hypocrisy there and changed it. But the point is, you have antiquated and hypocritical policies in place. There's no consistency.
It's not "free" or for some, "easy". That's why it's controversial. I believe there is a middle ground to be found on the topic but that's a longer conversation.
Yes, but unsurprisingly it is dependent upon party lines. Hence my comment about the GOP running on these platforms.
Because only one party wants the following:
1. Limiting # of drop boxes or locations for returning absentee ballots
2. Removing people from voter registration lists if they don't vote in any elections over a 5-year period
3. Not allowing for automatic voter registration which would occur when a citizen does business with the DMV or other state agencies
And does not support:
1. Sending absentee ballot applications to all eligible voters prior to an election

So yes, one party supports so-called anti-voting policies. And their representatives run on it. Unsurprisingly, these policies aren't supported by Independents or Democrats. So it's going against a large portion of what the country wants.
And only one party is actively trying to prevent the other from getting to the polls.
Much more complicated topic here but trying to equivocate massive advertising campaigns for a single party to voter suppression policies is an interesting take.
