Trump Indicted

Ooooofff. Ignorance is bliss huh. Lol. There is a direct paper trail of him using campaign funds to pay stormy lol. That is illegal. Period. There is a reason they took so long. To make sure the orange orangutan ? would finally get what he is due. He is a conman. Always has been always will be. I just hope someone turns a fan on while his mugshot is being taken. Want to see that carpet on his head blow around.

Yup yup, just like how the Mueller report was going to result in him going to prison.

Or the phone call with Zelensky that got him impeached first who now gets sent billions of dollars every few months from the current admin and the Ukrainian government gives us back receipts written in pencil for.

The second impeachment trial for when he was no longer even president. I’m not even gonna explain why that’s dumb.

Like I said before there’s dirt there, there always is. The only issue is the Democratic Party has been so busy trying to take him down via the dumbest shit they’ve exhausted their resources.

LOL I love the Trumpy fan boys who think he was only under investigation since running for president. The dude cannot help breaking the law which has resulted in constant investigations and numerous settlements over decades. It goes to show how there are two different justice systems for the wealthy and the rest of us.

BUT MAYBE ITS ALL A GIANT CONSPIRACY AND HE'S TOTALLY INNOCENT OF EVERYTHING!

LOL grow the fuck up.

That being said, this has a high probability to go to the Supreme Court. Brett Kavanaugh and company would undoubtedly dismiss their pal.

This is possible. Even likely. Trumps team will stall this for as long as they can.

yay lets talk about trump more....

there was a time period like last summer where I didnt hear trumps name for like a month and it was awesome. I wish we would just stop talking about this dipshit and let him fade into irrelevance.

Media makes a shit load of money off the Trump drama, they sure like to keep it going. The NYT's home page has been 95% Trump the last couple weeks. It's also quite likely they see how quickly Desantis fades into the background when Trump is plastered onto the front page.

So I guess that means we get Biden again, who will probably die because of how living works, and then....President Harris my friends. Oh ya, get ready for that.

I don't see this getting settled anytime soon.. I also don't see this being the only indictment he will face in the coming years.

He still has to face the DoJ investigation into the top secret documents he kept at his residence after he was asked multiple times to surrender them, the NY state investigation into his Organization lying to lenders and investors about assets, and the Racketeering and Conspiracy charges he could imminently face in Fulton Co. Georgia...

This is no witchhunt... this is just the dude finally reaping what he's sewn with his crimes...

Will he end up behind bars? no chance... At the very best we see him under house arrest or maybe probation or something... but he's not going to end up in an orange jumpsuit being placed in general population to get shanked in the showers - though that's almost certainly the least of which he deserves for his 50 years or more of shady shit he's pulled that would have put almost any of his layman supporters in prison

really dont think so.

people have seen his victim-card schtick now for years.. and it's so unattractive.

His base will absolutely come out for him, but he is even less popular with independents now than before the 2020 election... If he can't gain more appeal with independents, he's not going to win... and he's not going to win with 'woe is me - poor little Donald always getting witchhunted by the big bad democrats'

The dude only won because of a perfect storm where he was facing off against someone who'd been lambasted for 2 decades and was unpopular with her own base... while having a bunch of conservatives with pent up angst who were searching hard for a scapegoat to pin their problems on.

The dude digs his own grave at this stage, and people are really tired of his crap. If DeSantis really wants to jump into the race, he just has to use that kind of ammunition against him - show that he is a winner while Trump is a loser, and that he's not going to cry about it if he loses, but instead get back to work to do his best for the American People/uneducated pearl clutching, irrationally scared rural white families.

That's the kind of message that will do well with enough republicans to allow him to beat "Whiny Donny" (which is exactly what he should start calling him if he wants to use Donald's playbook)

must’ve been the same jury that found Alex jones guilty on the $1 billion lawsuit for words.

Lol well first of all an indictment doesn't require a jury...

but second of all, Alex Jones lost that case because he simply didnt comply with proceedings - and simply just continued to abuse the discovery process to the point where the judge had no choice but to grant the case to the Sandy Hook victims' families by default. He effectively forfeited the case like a total dingdong because he was too fucking stupid to comply with the way that court works...

His lawyer also pretty much gave the prosecution all of his phone records which were then able to be put into evidence.

Dude lost because he didn't even play, and the judge wasn't having any more of his bullshit, and then his lawyer just threw in the towel for him by giving the opposing counsel his whole phone records and allowed it to be entered into evidence without objection lol.

Alex Jones shoved his own fist in his ass so he could say the deep state is after him...

They fined him a billion dollars

the plaintiff lawyers are looking for a trillion in the next case. Idc if you take a shit on the floor in the middle of the trial. That’s an outrageous amount of money

if you refuse to comply with discovery time and time again, the judge is always going to give the case to the opposing counsel - every time. You need not have been to law school to know that much. Dude effectively waved a white flag.

It was not about the money in the slightest. It was about punishing that piece of shit to the maximum amount to set a precedent that that kind of shit cannot be tolerated. It wasnt about gaining financially... it was about making sure nobody who loses their children like this have to suffer the same bullshit they had to deal with once Alex Jones started his schizophrenic rants.

The first amendment does not protect you from what Alex Jones did - it was meant to prevent censorship by the state, not to protect you from slander and libel that would influence a bunch of thugs to terrorize families of people who lost their children to a madman.

Agreed Alex was guilty and it’s a good thing he’s seen his day in court but $1 billion + is cruel and unusual punishment considering 614 people in the entire US could actually pay back that amount.

That’s all I’m saying

He got off easy after years of subjecting stony hook victims' families to years of abuse due to his slander and defamation.

Fuck Alex Jones - and especially fuck his viewers who enabled him and allowed his sociopathic and insane conspiracies to influence a wide audience to do and believe some pretty fucked up things...

He's going to be in financial hell for the rest of his life... but that pales in comparison to the pain of losing your 6 or 7 year old to some piece of shit schizophrenic hikikomori who just decided one day that it would be super cool to go shoot up his old elementary school.

Honestly, GOP politics nowadays are far less about actual policies, and more about being terrified about a cadre of different things that don't actually fucking effect anyone - Trans people in Womens Sports, 'wokeness', Critical Race Theory, Drag Shows, George Soros, Hunter's Laptop, and whatever other gripe of the week they can come up with to try to scare socially unadjusted white people into voting for their latest creepy, closeted candidate who no doubt pays some women to peg him...

...just like Donald did when he had Stormy Daniels come over to tell him that he's a good good boy and stick her finger up his bum so he could satisfy his dommy mommy kink...

The trans panic stuff drives me nuts, I feel like I have developed a few more conservative views over time, but I can't imagine ever hopping on the republican wagon.

Around what, 1% of the population is trans? Yet listening to many in the republican party you'd think it was 40% and about to become 80%. It was the same thing with CRT.

It really feels like the only thing being offered by the party most of the time is crazy takes on wedge social issues that no one would really care about if it wasn't running on tucker all the time.

To be fair the left has started to get pretty wild when it comes to speech, the idea of a trans "genocide", and colleges. The far left is far from blameless.

How I wish we could go back to the time when we would say " hey man, don't worry about the internet crazies. They're just a small group of people online" with the knowledge of how much all this crazy shit would bleed into the real world 10 years later

conservatives are genuinely terrified of people who deviate from social norms so they’re gonna do whatever they can to stop it. even if that means shit like banning drag shows like that helps anyone??

Its not just Republicans, you fucking idiot. If you're really interested in learning more, watch the documentary "What is a Woman". Chemical castration drugs that were used on sex offenders are now being used on children, relabeled as " reversible puberty blockers" as part of "gender affirming care". No, that shit is not reversible. The Canadian government is now allowing children as young as 10 to access these treatments and they have imprisoned the parents who don't consent under the guise of child abuse.

If that's too much, just watch the last few seasons of "I Am Jazz" about the youngest trans person in the U.S. and how well she's doing. I'll give you a hint, she's not doing fucking well at all. Maybe it has something to do with the constant supply of drugs being pumped into her body or her mom forcing a dildo up her man-made vagina every morning to keep it from sealing. Nah, it must be those mean comments on the twitter. Yeah, that must be it.

What, if any part of my post made you think I'm pro puberty blockers or surgery for kids? That shits fucked.

I'm just tired about this never ending media cycle about an incredible small group. Protect the kids, let adults do what they want and shut the fuck up about it.

In the left it's a trans genocide and on the right it's the trans apocalypse.

There's already legislation in the states both current and proposed to prevent the stuff with kids.

And if your talking about the BC dad, since that tends to be the famous case, he was imprisoned for violating a publication order. Contempt of court. He was told not to give out private information on his kid, he did so anyways, and got arrested for violating the order.

And anyways, fuck canada

Mainstream media? All forms of media brother. This trans shit is not the most important thing going on in the world. Not even close.

Mainstream media, alternative media, social media, media, even newschoolers for fucks sake it's everywhere.

Do you really think the issue is large enough to warrant the amount of coverage and discussion it gets?

You obviously rely on trash sources. Try Aljazeera. They never cover trans issues because they're too busy trying to cover women's heads.

From what I understand of it the problem only exists because they filed the payment as a business expenses claim for tax purposes.... Never, never fuck the taxman.... he always cometh and harder than Candyman. If they had simply paid the bird there would not be any problem. And to be fair Bill Clinton proved it doesn't matter if you're on the job while at the job :-) So why they tried to cover anything up and file an expenses claim shows how dumb some people can be in trying to save money....

As far as Republican presidents go, this is pretty weak. Reagan's election campaign sabotaged President Carter's negotiations in the Iranian hostage crisis by secretly meeting with Iranian militants and telling them to continue holding 70 Americans hostage until after the election so they could get a better deal when Reagan was in office.

Republican politicians have a long history of traitorous behavior but its not surprising given the GOP was founded on the idea of sedition and destroying America, hence why it was formed a couple years before the Civil War. Paying off a porn star? Pff, what a nothing-burger.

What? The original republican party was created after the northern state whigs became dissatisfied at their party because of the fugitive slave law in 1850 so they decided to craft a new party in 1854 aimed at anti slavery and a driving force for the Union in the Civil War. Lincoln was a Northern Whig who became a republican. Politics just tends to be an ever changing force of opinion and same with the parties themselves. We just live in very interesting times. As I got older, I thought this is how politics is, but I was wrong. The media and the politicians themselves in recent years have just decided to perfect the constant mantra of extremist political theater. This trial, trumps former presidency, bidens current presidency, the impeachments, and much more just seems to be for the ratings if that makes sense. Having faith in any form of our government right now for me is just completely non existent so Im just now under the impression that I dont give a fuck tbh.

Can you imagine if all elected officials were investigated and indicted for their affairs and hush money payments? No one would be left in DC.
