when I was in highschool, I didnt hate people like you because I was jealous. but more because you are a fucking scetchball if you are seeing a girl who just got her license when you are just about to be of drinking age.
 
There are different types of maturity. At 15 I was mature in the sense that I didn't get the whole girl-drama, gossipy high school scene, I was super driven and got along really well with people a few years older than me. I actually struggled being friends with most girls my age because I didn't GET them. And it is almost like most of them have caught up now. But at the same time relationship-wise I was nowhere near that level of maturity. What I want and would expect out of a relationship has changed hugely since then. How I view relationships has changed hugely since then. Dating somebody that much older would have been awful for me and bad for him, and it's something I wouldn't realize until much later.

It also sounds like you just want her because she's attractive whereas she's legitimately into you. So you'd just be taking advantage of her and her naivety.
