I'm just gonna weigh in on this. I started dating my current boyfriend when I was 17, he was 24. I'm now 20 and he's 27... we've been together off and on for about 3 years. I have never had a problem with large age gaps, but thats just me. there are people who will always look down on you if you have a large gap. it just happens.

When we first became friends we worked together and had no idea how old the other was. I assumed he was around 20-21 and he thought I was about 18-19...little did we know. hahaha

and i think it is...we've definitely had some struggles but whats a real relationship without struggles.

Think about if you were dating someone who was 5 years older than you when you were a HS freshman. Relationships never work with that kind of maturity difference. Yeah she may seem mature when you hang out but why wouldn't she? If she wants to date you, of course she will pump up her maturity level in order to grab your attention. But if you wanna bang her, that's a different story.. Just don't get caught.
