I was 17 when I started dating a 21 year old, the age gap seemed big at first but now 4 years isn't a big deal. If you were 30 it would be creepy though.

Legally, if she is 15, she is under age of consent, which is Statutory rape. If she turns 16, you have to be within 60 months (5 Years) of her age for it to be legal. This is straight out of RCW.

A five year gap is really not a big deal at all. However, when you're talking about a 15 year old girl, it definitely is.

By Dutch law it's completly legal.

Honestly if you asked every person on NS how many years apart their parents were, the majority of them would say 2-10 years. It's really normal. Guys mature about 4 years slower than women so you guys are psychologically equal.

I dated the guy I referenced in my last post for 4 years then married him. Now (7 years since we got together) people hear that we're 4 years apart and think it's totally normal.

Besides, who gives a crap about what other people think, if you like her and she likes you then that's all that matters.
