eat alot of pasta, alot of meat, maadd protein, lift like a bitch, and up the sodium intake (salt for all yo simpletons, hahaha) the salt retains water, so you'll gain more an more weight, just drink alot too...
just playing with ya, but if you're serious about it, set up a diet plan for yourself and follow it generally. get a good supplement too, like ON 100% whey.
just lift 3-4 times a week, your appetite will increase as you lift more and
ive been lifting 3 days a week since september (high school sports) and ive gained between 10 and 15 pounds, but i also eat 4 meals a day on avg plus snacks
it depends on what your end goal is...if you just want to gain ten pounds now only to lose it quickly then you could listen to most of what has been said (except lifting)...i definitely wouldn't do the salt thing because it will only make you gain pounds and not any "real" weight
the healthiest way to do it is up your calorie intake (with clean foods!) and lift weights...this won't be as quick as the other suggestions but it will be a much healthier and long lasting way of doing it
if you eat too much protein you won't digest it if you know what i mean...the standard is no more than 1oz of protein per lb of bodyweight (that includes protein you get from meals)...also, too much protein in a person's diet has been shown to cause cancer fyi
if you want to gain fat then eat a lot of junk
but if you want to gain weight like lean muscle then eat about 3500 calories a day, have about 70g of protein aday (protein shakes)
so you want a lot of calories with little fat
start drinkin a lot of protein...usualy shouldnt drink this much but if you drink the amount of grams of protein as your body weight.....ie. you weigh 150 drink 150 g a day. also take a pre workout supplement. black powder is a real good one. and eat eat eat up your calorie count by atleast 2000....if you do the protein and the calorie count you will put on the 10 lbs real quick
you don't really need too much protein unless you're a vegitarian or don't eat to much meat. Otherwise it will just turn into fat. Lift weights and gradually increase the weight. Also working out legs can help you add extra pounds.
I pretty much can't gain weight, I generally eat unhealthy foods more often then I should, I snack from sunrise to sunset and I don't go out of my way to exersize myself unless im skiing or working.
dont eat just protein. eat a three to one ratio of carbs to protien. if you dont want to buy that drink supplement for like 50 bucks, buy carnation instant breakfast, its the same shit for 3, its got hella protein and nutritional value.
if you want to gain fat weight then eat right before you go to bed but if you want muscle then eat peanut butter like some other guy said a jar a week will do it thats what i do and lots of milk and then go work out
a) eating before you go to bed (contrary to popular belief) does NOT make you gain weight. the only reason that's said is because, presumably, you're eating something that you normally would not eat (ie 4th meal)
b) eating a big jar of peanut butter a week is incredibly unhealthy (trans-fats) and will make you gain fat, regardless of the extra protein, because a lot of the calories in peanut butter are calories from fat (about 70% !!!)
like someone said before...to gain clean weight eat more calories but try to keep your fat calories down...it's a challenge but i find it easier to plan out every meal for a week (usually on sunday) and stick to it...good luck
Up the weight. Heavier lifting = more muscle mass (hypertrophy) = more weight. It also raises your resting metabolism 2-3% per pound. Therefore, you burn fat, and gain healthy weight.
