The Stoked Thread

I think i mentioned the job at a golf course I got a while ago... I start tomorrow morning. There's a good chance I'll be trained by the guy who lives across the street from me. I only found out he works there two today... Clipping greens & free golf all summer.
 
Word man, thats awesome. If you can get past the early mornings, its a great job. I have a couple friends that have done it the past couple summers at various courses, they all enjoy it.

Much to Jon's dismay, this went up a few minutes ago. Wallisch and Dumont MURDERED shit, I haven't seen an edit that got me this stoked to ski in sooo long. I can't wait to see the edits that beat this one.

I finally sold my camera! It was starting to turn into a major fiasco with people out of town, but my photo TA just stepped in and said she would take it for sure. So as of tomorrow at noon I will only have three cameras.

I also went and had a couple beers and talked with the super cool girl I went out with last weekend. I don't know why I left her last fall, but this has just reinfoced the notion that smart girls are more fun than retarded bar sluts. I am thinking this weekend may somehow top the last one...we are going to Helena and plan on drinking at all hours, and she will be stumbling around a softball field while I photograph the carnage. Hot damn!

The breeding of pitbulls is banned. You can still get an adult one from a shelter, provided you don't own one already - but yes you do have to neuter, muzzle and leash it.

ugh, I hate the reputation they have gotten. All the wannabe tough guys around here have them too, and I've seen puppies even, but they aren't legal.

I don't want a shelter dog, well and besides that I have two dogs now, I also don't want three. heh.

I am 50% older then he is and he is at my level and/or ahead of me. The math class he talks about is 307, He is also in 126 (thats the class I am in).

Unless there are two midget Asians running around campus with roller backpacks.

On another stoke note involving asians at UW (there are alot of them)-

Two kids on my floor were arrested for shooting at rooms on the apposing tower with an air rifle. Needless to say I I doubt they will be allowed to move back into their rooms.

Why am I stoked about this?

It means that there is an open room on our floor, I am gonna try and move out of this triple and get their former room.
 
Unfortunately, the kids were not in tow. I went with a work buddy, to the Hunter Mtn Fire Tower. I'll have pics up later.

But the other day at the park I showed them how to paint with certain rocks, that was pretty damn fun. We painted everything.
 
I finally figured out all my classes for my writing minor, which was difficult. I will only be missing out on getting into the contemporary british/american lit class I wanted, but will be able to get 20th century instead, which is almost as good. My junior year is going to be pretty intense, though.

Also stoked that I finished printing my photo final today, now all I have to do is pick my supplementary images, spot everything, and get them all matted up for presentation.
 
yeah i guess you're right.

i just gave up being smart along time ago, i prefer to revel in my blatant and utter stupidity. unfortunately this also has an inverse effect on my ability to get laid.
 
I am highly stoked on having the best job in the world. I'm not even to the fun part yet (or the really crappy parts, granted) but I'm already frequently amazed at the fact I get paid for this.

Also, my ex called me today to get boy advice - not stokeworthy, I know, but wait for it - because the guy she's pretty much been with since we broke up is a lying sleaze bag. Said I'm the only guy she's ever dated that's not a worthless piece of shit. She asked if I was happy with my life now. I told her yes, very. She didn't sound that happy.

I'm kind of a jerk for being slightly stoked about that. I don't really want her to be miserable, and her very low standards are unsettling to me, but I did call this all along - that the guy wasn't trustworthy and she should find someone better. So it's kind of nice to be proven right.
 
holy crap soccer stoke.

i just played the most outweighed game of im soccer ever. my team was made up of a bunch of friends some who were of the rounder shape, and a few athletes from high school and we almost won when playing against like half of the varsity nordic XC team. we lost it in the last three minutes. just some defense slip ups and we, a small last min team wouldhave beaten a bunch of college varsity atheletes just out of season. man, i don't know but i'm ready to go do work.

i'm so ready for summer pick up games now.
