The Stoked Thread

One of my friends lives with a bunch of strippers, and I can't say I have been too impressed with their intellect. But yeah, despite the fact that they usually make for substandard company, it is pretty fun to go around with a herd of strippers in tow.
 
i just had a "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" moment at the Venetian/Palazzo employment center, but you guys will have to find out about it later- i'm sick of jinxing myself, so you'll just have to wait. let's just say it's good enough news that i blew up my dad's phone when i knew he was in the middle of a partners' meeting at his accounting firm.
 
ahahah me too, if i can't find an Xmas one in time i'm gonna rock a shitty argyle dollar store one i've got hanging around from another "shitty sweater party"

i have one of those decisions where you cant go wrong, tomorrow either go skiing or go to the sounds, which should i do?
 
im skiing, though i had made up my mind that sounds was the better option, being one of my favorite bands and expected windy conditions with light snow (aka 1 inch for the day, just enough to fuck everything up without being fun at all). but my other roommate is decidedly worthless and is going to boulder as well (one of my roommates needs a ride to school), to see my friend's ex (weird) instead of ski and is not going to the concert cause he needs to work. so no point in taking two cars, but that frees up my night to go watch movies with this girl ive been hanging out with. so despite missing out on a sick concert i get to do other things im stoked on.
 
One of my good friends I'm living with all winter, Pete Kukesh, got the introductory double page spread in the powder photo annual.... first time he's even been mentioned in a mag, let alone a picture. Fuck ya, kid deserves to be SO much bigger than he is.

Stoked on mothers. And for the record, I have the coolest and best parents ever. That's right, I totally just claimed that.
 
Skiing yesterday, even in -28* conditions, was SOOO sick. Far too stoked on the season that's upon us, especially since it's dumping snow outside.

A little not stoked that I can't move my neck, and my knee is clicking since yesterday, but it's all good!, right?
 
I wish. One of the very few weekends I can't get out of Boston. I'll probably day trip it to Loon or Sunapee on Saturday to try out my snowboard. Jay will be sick though. Probably be up there the following weekend.
 
It was puking in Ottawa today. I went and built a fair sized booter to flats brought along 2 garbage pales and made a bonk. Stomped everything I tried, did a pretty burly straightline near the fallingbrook waterfall with our 25 cm base and absolutely cleaned it. Suppper stoked!
 
Ditto. If you find another would you mind air-mailing her to me? I need to break this curse of Roche-sluts-ville.
 
i'm not really "stoked" about this, per se, but whatever.

i was randomly browsing craigslist when I came across a "missed connection" that i'm pretty sure is about me, hahah. so strange. of course, i had to email them. haha. this is going to be funny.
 
My past 2 days skiing ahve been awesome.

Monday - 2 degrees in the sun at the peak, with some burly winds. 11 inches of new snow

Tuesday - 20 degrees with 7 inches of new snow.

Day #2, the trees were going OFF. So much fun. I got up there at 9:30 and was definitely the first person through the Patsys for 3 consecutive runs.

It was just straight awesome.
 
Oh and despite it raining right now and being 50, here are the snow forecasts for the next 2 days..

Today - 3-5"

Tonight - 1-3"

Tomorrow - 2-4"

Then Thursday night and Friday are snow with a Nor'Easter...

Friday may be a fucking wonderful day.
 
It will be. I just got a weather alert for 90% chance of snow for Thursday @ 23F in btown. Snow through the weekend @ Jay, but wicked cold. Waiting on the lionelhutz (TGR) weather forecast before I burst into a random fit of joy.
 
Hook me up once it comes through!!

Either way, I'm skiing Thursday and Friday, and it should be excellent both days.
