The Stoked Thread

The Yankees signed 375 lb C.C. Sabathia to a 7 year, $160 million dollar deal. My guess would be Sabathia requested the money be paid in cash and hot wings.
Dear Yankee fans,You can't sign a guy to a "Johan Santana" type deal and expect him to PITCH like Johan Santana.
Love,Every NY Mets fan in the world

I have this scenario envisioned.
The Mets somehow make a trade to Colorado for Huston Street. He becomes are set up man. By some crazy medical miracle, Billy Wagner comes back in the middle of August/early September. Now we have a bull pen made up of three fire breathing closers.

Anyways...

Just finished the interview with the paper. I'm not sure if this will make the interview but I wanted to post it in here.
the questions was, "Do you think you'll write about skiing after college?"
My answer was:
I hope to continue writing about skiing for the rest of my life. If
by some chance that doesn't happen, I have no regrets. I've gotten a
chance to interview athletes who's posters were on my wall and I've
made friendships that will last a lifetime. Most people my age tell
glory stories that are set in run down fraternity houses. I'm proud to
say mine take place in the mountains.

I'll cut you hard so hard you'll say, "God damn, I wish he no cut me so hard"

Saturday, Adam - it's you, me, and first person to throw a 3 in the woods in untracked pow.
Winner gets a beer at the Snowshoe on the Loser. Deal?

Deal. Bring a 6er of tall boys Saturday. Drinkin in the tram line is mighty fine. Shit. I've been drinking too much magic hat. I'm talking like the caps now.

I've been tracking things all morning. The models are pushing it more westward, but the cold is pushing HARD east, so I think the sweetspot very well might be K and points north. Jay will get it good just because it's topography.

I'm all set for a killer morning on Friday. The 6-12 tonight will help re-cover the woods that was lost in the deluge that occurred, and then it's open game on Friday.

Anyone up for joining me on Friday at K? $29 lift ticket for anyone who does, and you can enjoy my company skiing non-stop until 1pm when I need to get ready for work at 2pm.

^ The f'd up part is that it's snowing in Louisiana and raining in New York. Kmart seems like one of the few places down south that's having a kick ass season so far.

Just got done talking to a lady @ jay. It's been snowing there since 9:30 am. PM me if you wanna come up Thursday and shred Jay Friday. I'm tracking that place out before you fools get there Saturday!

Work at 3 and 2 respectively Thursday and Friday. I shred K until 2 or 3 then work for 8 hours. It's not a bad gig.

2010 Olympic Tickets!

2 "A" level tickets to Mens Moguls Quals and Finals

4 "A" level tickets to Mens Skiercross Quals and Finals

2 "B" level tickets to 3 Mens Hockey Playoff Qualification Games

2 "B" level tickets to Mens Hockey Quarterfinal game

I'm pretty stoked. No speedskating which sucks, and obviously sucks no gold medal game. Oh well. Should be fun regardless.

Spanish paper is going way easier than I could have dreamed. Here's a bit of introduction, I'm just starting to lay out my thesis:

so fucking stoked to be in Tahoe...

arrive Monday night, chill with cousin and friend, hot tub.

Tuesday go pick up my season pass at North Star, ride, meet up with friends from south lake, go to Trivia night and get hammered.

Wednesday rode North * again, then went to Taco Night, yummm, more hot tubing. now i'm going to bed to wake up for Yoga and then more skiing!

NOW for the only bit of not stoked... but it's a big one... NO FUCKING SNOW. Seriously we're freaking out, although we're suppose to get some this weekend, it better be a big dump of epic proportions.

Meh, thread is amusing at best. I could make it much more exciting, but will hold back. (It would involve ripping on that douche of a character EastAR5)

So in that graphic, am I correct in assuming that "because they are first" still falls under "because they are idiots"?

Holy shittttttt!!!!!

I'm so stoked I might actually get to shoot powder this weekend, hahahahahahahahah YESSSSSSSS.

Screw all you guys and your awesome weather. Totally bummed that I can't make it to the NS party at jay this weekend.

If I had a more reliable vehicle right now I would for sure blow off the gf and her upscale work xmas party for skiing.

Have fun fellas. Bangor I'm relying on you to provide those that can't go with some outstanding pow photos, no pressure or anything.
