I know I made a thread about this, but I rep for RMU and were going to be doing free demo's at Big Sky friday so if you guy's wanna check out some dope planks come on up!
 
god i wish man but there still isnt much out there. building a new up rail to put a cannon rail after the 3rd jump right now. also a new down rail that will go in swifty on one of the big pads to give everyone that "real down rail" they want. But we need more snow still had rocks coming through the snow again today.
 
We are thinking of doing a kinda mini boxzilla party in 2.0 on saturday feb 2nd with a cook out next to the feature also if you guys would be interested let me know, so I can decide if its worth it. All free of course if you have a lift ticket.
 
I can think of almost 20 people who have gotten seriously hurt in the past 2 months up at Big Sky and Moonlight, shits getting a little spooky. Be careful out there guys
 
i dont know the dude, per se, but know who he is. mutual friends. i was on ihorse when he was getting bagged up on the sled. gnarly shit.

i know TONS of people who have been injured this season. myself included, though i only got a couple cracked ribs. shits cray.
 
Well i just fired up a cat sitting in the shop waiting for it to warm up. Its finally snowing so its time to start building again. Swifty park will be closed through mid day tomorrow to allow us to finish up the build from tonight. We will be changing up many features and adding a new one that has never been seen. Come check it out this week. Also the jump line will be getting winched on wednesday after spending many hours measuring new take off's/ landings it should be riding even better by this coming weekend. Also on top of it all swifty 2.0 will get a make over by this coming weekend also.
 
May I request with the backing of a few of the homies a small 20-30ft jump in the swifty park. Either where the c box/kink rails are or up near where the barrel is?
 
hopefully by wednesday.. this snow has been a big help. But i mean lets be real give me a few days to slay pow before I have to get into a cat again..
 
just got done with a bunch of changes, jump in swifty, down rails, cannon rail, park will be closed all day for hand work
 
Hey can anyone tell me exactly where this is? I think its part of the Kircher cliff band, or maybe something around that area?

Any ideals?

i'm nearly positive i've biked by these cliffs in the summer. they're visible from the mountain bike trail that ends at ousel falls (given that you shuttle it.)

i'm having trouble remembering the other trail head's name... but it's accessed by driving down toward the half moon saloon and going up a tremendously long dirt road full o' switchbacks.
 
I figured it out, its right behind Kircher, and I didn't recognize it with this little snow. Definitely not near Ousel though. Its sidecountry at BS for sure.
 
Is that the cliff band that is just out of bounds if you take the road past Africa and then hike up a bit at the switchback?
 
The cliff band on Andesite is called Option cliffs.

That picture isn't the Kircher cliffs, nor do I think it's Chippewa (the ridge behind the kirchers that you're probably thinking of). it could be though, it does look similar. I've never been out there though to tell you.
 
What you have circled is Chippewa, 100%. I still don't think that's what's pictured. i looked at them today for awhile trying to figure out how everyone gets back from there, and the picture doesn't look like them. Could be an upper section that's hidden by the Kirchers, but again, idk.
 
The actual zone in the picture might actually be further down from the circled sections, and I am pretty sure you have to skin back to Dakota, so that would make sense.
 
I thought the positioning in the shady steep spot was a little interesting...Should be good come spring tho when its warm and sunny.
 
Ride up Swifty for the first time in 2 months today and far less than 50% of the park has changed. What gives guys? Everyone is pissed about it, especially after the park was changed up so much last year.
 
The park is so sick right now though. I haven't talked to anyone who's been pissed about it. I personally am lovin the setup.
