Weather is getting warm again, shits softening up during the day and then freezing solid overnight. Be careful out there, it may be worth waiting to get to the mtn until 11ish, especially if you want to ski something that isn't groomed.

Also, busiest week of spring breaks yet, tons of clueless tourists everywhere and collisions are rampant, tons of gapers in the park enjoying side jumps and chilling in the landings of things so keep your eye open.

Don't get mad at me if Swifty keeps slowing and stopping. In the hour after lunch I shit you not I had to slow the lift at least every 5th chair that passed. People are morons.

 
my ar 7's with fks 18's got jacked today at big sky. $200 to whoever puts them back in my hands.

They have a POW sticker on the tip and tails

crap!! i havent heard of that happening here for a long time. i'll keep my eyes peeled for sure though. what year are those ar7's and are the fks's the chrome or orange ones?

got a pair of thalls i'd sell for cheap if you need something for the next couple weeks to shred.
 
Does anybody have a pair of medium or large size knee braces I could borrow for next Saturday for the headwaters comp? I just need them for the day, I can trade you some beer or base welding for the favor.

some pretty big slides in the AZ chutes and Pinnacles, little ones all over dirtbag wall, chicken bowl and pretty much anything else south facing. Pretty intense. This was one of at least 5 slides in the AZ/Pinnacles region that tore down to the rocks

they've been opening them for about an hour each day, its that sweet spot in between being to icy to ski and so warm that they'll slide. but my guess is that tram and south face might get called for the season here at some point. shits getting really sketchy
 
It happens almost every year. As the sun starts to really beat down on Lone Peak there is nothing but rocks underneath the snow. The rocks heat up (enough light goes through the snow) and the snow melts out around the rocks so there are tons of voids, ice, and re-occurring facets due to the freeze/thaw cycle. Then when the snow gets soft enough shit just slides off like hot butter.

And I do love butter.
 
Little late but still wanted to say, loving the two jumps in swifty now especially the second one as it pops you up more now instead of just woooo 1 ft of air.
 
So the Spring Runoff comp on Saturday was AMAZING! I was getting white-roomed in April during a Big Mountain comp! Can't get any better!

And big props to Clayton Peacock for throwing down so huge. The highlight reel is going to be stellar!

I wanna turn it into a feature. And carve "Daphne was here" into the side. Fortunately since I hit so many I can just choose any tree in that grove and call it mine ahahaha
 
Get a metric fuckton of schwag (metric is bigger than english), get a bullhorn (from Rylan), move from feature to feature calling out tricks/egging on riders, hand out schwag to those who land said called out tricks/do cool shit.

But really, I just want a rail jam on the first $20 day outside choppers like 2 years ago.

 
something a few buddies and i were thinking over the past season would be a people's choice park. set up like an online poll thing where people can write in what they want to see and then have a rail jam
