Taboo Things in Skiing

As Steve Stepp once said while discussing skiing and drinking wine, "The bow and arrow grab....I don't really want to demonstrate it because its fucking stupid."

What else are taboo things in skiing?

Definitely agree that reverts are the absolute worst. Sometimes it's necessary when trying to land switch and ride out on haggard backcountry jumps, in that case go for it especially if you can do them well:

In general, reverts make freeskiing looks bad and really kill the flow of any line (If you're really not comfortable skiing switch though, definitely revert when there's a lot of ppl around so you don't start taking ppl out like a bunch of bowling pins..)

Otherwise everyone should make it a goal to revert less this season

-Ski instructors technique: No matter how bad they are doing it, you can't be wrong.

-Stepping on someone else's skis: Come on, it like getting your leg chopped off.

-Bootpacking a skin track: fuck you for ruining it you goddamn snowboarder

-Tom Wallish: Go ahead, I dare you

In Colorado, pulling down the safety bar. I know everywhere else you pull that things down before you get off the ramp, but NO ONE uses that shit around here.

Any grab like the bow and arrow where you have to contort yourself so much its impossible to have style because your in a crazy yoga position, I think the dub handrag 3 is pretty taboo if done like a gymnast

Just had to make this.

The fact that racers have proper skiing technique, and many of the park rats that make fun of them, have very poor skiing technique.
