STEVENS PASS THREAD!!

I have to say, possibly the best park Stevens has ever had. Kudos to the park crew, its taken them a while, but its great!

Too bad the snow was too slow to do pipe and all yesterday. Fucking rain.

i thought hollywood was one of the more stable zones on saturday. hope you had fun skiing on the bed surface everywhere else.

Just checked and 13" new with sunny skies. Fuuuck. I would so go but today is my one year anniversary with my girfriend and got a huge accounting test tomorrow. Oh how I wish it was spring break right now and ski powder. Lets hope next week some storms hit... CHRIST!

Well this is fucking bullshit, why the fuck did this fucking day have to be on a mother fucking tuesday. Why not wednesday, or friday, or monday or any other fucking day of the fucking week god fucking damnt.

Today was epic. The snow started off fairly light and of course got a bit heavier as the day went on. I have had some damned good pow days this year, but today was right up there with the best

Ive got a team going, we all have 50 bucks or so in pledges. The event is next Sat-Sun 10am to 10am off of Hogs. It should be pretty sweet. I'm wondering about their tolerance policy for beer. Its a long night, and you've got to keep well lubricated

i'm no fan of cancer, so if anyone needs an extra i could throw down laps for their team. i've never skied all night before.

washington state patrol has a team according to the event website, so they might pull you over for a SUI. SUI is also the name of TGRs new movie.

Never done this before, looks like it could be fun so I guess maybe id be down if you need more. Not sure if/what I would have to do sponsorship wise. Collect pledges from friends I guess? Theyre poor college students so maybe some older people lol~

yo, i did it solo last year and itwas sooo much fun. i skied 20/24 hrs and was totally dead, but such a good time. you basically cant drink in their little chill out area in the lodge, i just drank a lil bit on the lift to keep warm, ahah. if you have some friends with you it will be awesome

wait so i dont get how this thing works

do you just have to get someone to donate money for you and then they sign you up

or can you just go there and ski for 24 hours and what not

yeah i mean i'll probably get a few donations.... but i was just wondering if they wouldnt let you ski after 10 if you werent like registered with a donation and stuff

I'll say. First tracks from the summit of the Roostercomb. Were you hitting that hip'ish thing over near the cornice in Hollywood?

Well looks like they just switched their website around a bit, anyways since its still on I guess Ill probably sign up as an individual and collect some donations real fast. It looks like fun and its for a good cause so Im all for it~

The hope on the slopes thing was pretty damn fun. Screwed around a lot during the day but started really lapping it at night. It was pretty funny how many of us there were tucking it all the way down skyline/hogsback. Definitely a recommendation to anyone thinking about doing it next year. Only downside was that I ate a massively undercooked burger and well yeah you can guess. Then on my way back down highway 2 at 1 am near goldbar some guy waved me down. I stopped thinking maybe I could help, at first he said he and his buddy ran out of gas, but long story short after awhile he started saying some seriously strange shit and I fucking drove away while he was trying to get in my car saying his friend mike wouldnt let him leave. Anyways, people in goldbar are fucked and check your food random people cook for you~

hope on the slopes was super fun. but its hard to ski 24 hours straight when they close the lifts for grooming and you lose an hour for daylight savings on top of it.

i got third with 150,000. second was 160,000. first was 180,000......but it was a 75 year-old guy that me and the second place guy knew we were lapping. oh well. and the UW snowboard team won the team total event.

there were over 400 participants, but it was mostly racer families who have cabins up there. i stole their game plan and tucked as much as possible. some of them got pretty pissed that i was going fast like them without racing skis (dukes on seths) and their shit talking started the first chairlift ride up about my "park skis" and "powder boards" and escalated all the way to one of them saying he was gonna punch me in the mouth. silly racers. anyone can ski fast on a groomer.

and Scott make sure you watch Deliverance next time before you go driving around Gold Bar at night.

bunch of new stuff in the park, come check it out.......(flatbox, olli box, big gap to the down flat down box, rainbow box, rebuilt the upper jumps, looks money!

today was prtty good some early morning powder about 6 inches but then it became chopped up and heavy over all some fun snow. The park has really became good the assortment of jumps and boxes is nice and the landings are nice(on the small ones im not that daring) and there is a massive jump at the end of the water falls but two thumbs up to the park crew for stepping up there game.

Alright, who's the 12 year old asshole with the brown striped sessions jacket that yelled at me to use poles today from the Brooks chair?

Today was pretty decent, a lot of runs through the forest hehe. The whole backside was pretty much crunch if it wasnt in the trees. Only met 1 NSer, and I already forgot his name, so say something if I met you haha~
