STEVENS PASS THREAD!!

maybe there was a reason nobody else was hitting it? maybe it was obvious to everybody else that the jump hasn't been maintained very well? hmmm...
 
I think ill be going on Sunday, but its hard to say if Im going tomorrow, looks like its snowing, but I dont know how much new there will be...

stevens is my home mountain. the park is really sweet this year because the park crew really stepped it up, especially with bringing in the park pass.

Nah, that was V's friend, I didnt have anything to change into and was kind of hoping to stay dry, which I did, pretty much no water even splashed on me.
 
yeah, word up to all the stevens pass crew for making 07.08 a sick ass season,

the powder was deep, the parks were sick. and the people were chill. one of the best seasons in a while///
 
this year has been the best

oh and who saw the third snowboarder going on the pond skim. well ya he hit me and another lady the lady got the worst of it but it was pretty funny
 
which occurred right after we asked a patroller "aren't those people too close to the end of the pond" and he said "nah, barely anyone makes it across, and if they do, they're going really slow". whoops.

i would've skimmed the pond all day, tis unfortunate there was only one go.

 
skied with my dad saturday for the first time since

christmas, hiking up roostercomb, big piece of snow falls off one of

the BPA structures and takes him out. don't think i'll be skiing with him again soon. roostercomb

was a bad choice anyways with all the climax releases.
 
would you be up for some skinning in a couple weeks once everything settles down? today's rain might have helped compact things a little. need more rain. what?
 
Son of a bitch I was gonna go up then a buddy said they extended the season through next weekend. I was sick this weekend and thought "oh sick, very unexpected but ok next weekend" then I find out its NEXT SEASON they will go til the 19th. Mother fucker. Well maybe ill hit up Alpental but fuck i got a seasons pass to stevens and im broke.
 
Bleh I wish, but dont have any skins. I need to sell my 2 old pairs of skis and buy a lighter pair of skis that I can mount with AT bindings and skin with.
 
Big air was fun,

12 skiers turned out for it.

snow was supper slow but the park crew killed it, b-rad stretched the last bag of salt forever, keeping the in run and take off fast.
 
Big air was a good set up...I liked how you could just do your normal run but your waterfall hit counted...Domer took it w/ a sw 10 i believe
 
I would like to thank everyone for making stevens pass your home mountain. we had a bitchin year and I thank all of you for the positive feedback and support. thanks and have a rad summer.
