SNOW: freeride/freestyle skiing game

It takes a long time to develop a game like this. Just use your patients. It's summer time anyways so go outside and do something
 
SNOW have implied through a comment on their facebook that the first edition of this game will be an alpha without snowboarding.

A guy posted: '

when is your expected release date? Since it's going to be free to play couldn't you release the alpha which doesn't contain snow-boarding early if possible? I really can't wait for this much longer.'

SNOW then responded: 'That's basically the plan'

It seems they are trying to get this out as fast as possible but without it being shit...

 
I'm not sure that means anything at all. All I get from it is that they are making good progress, but it might still take a while.
 
These pictures don't look like they were taken during gameplay, they look like a screenshot of your map and a photoshopped character in the air.
 
SNOW Programmer here, I can assure you that everything we release is realtime footage directly from the engine. :)

I would count myself as a pretty decent shopper and this doesn't look shopped at all. The lighting is in par with CryEngine3 and from what the terrain and lighting filters are.
 
it would be the most amazing thing ever, seriously. Please for the love of ze gods, dont be another jiblife. Oh, and im not sure if it has been answered, how much will the game cost or will it be free?
