Snoqualmie/Alpental Thread

i came out to visit my rents for the weekend from mn, rode friday and saturday night. i was pumped to see all the skiers. i was out there in the brown and white sessions gear, i talked to a few kids. im pretty pumped to be living out there, the park seemed pretty sick, nothing too big though. the slush was rough on my bad knee, but it was a good time.
 
I was out there on Sunday in the lumberjack wear cruising solo. It was pretty fun except my case on the 2nd jump. I cased, bounced, and landed on my skis down the tranny and now 30 hours later I feel like I have some whip lash... See you out there tomorrow.
 
yo i was up today kuz bomb threat at our shcool haha but i saw the limo and ya its a pretty narrow box, maybe like 6-10inches or something wide. pretty filthy lookin tho for real.

and update: they got 1 cbox put in, they got the rollercoaster box (not the dragontail, the actual up down up down one) and another fat ugly box.
 
anybody gonna be up tomorrow? i don't feel like skiing alone... i get bored quick and nobody is able to come up with me.
 
i dont really understand it. the actually kicker looks way too big for the gap. i havent hit it yet. it was closed when i went up tuesday night. landing and takeoff look groomed, no ruts
 
Second jump is fun, but still pretty small.

I nearly murdered myself trying to handplant over the takeoff, as I came in way too fast, completely missed the handplant, and did a 1/3 flair to face lander in the deck. Good thing it was slushy.
 
I want to know this too. Do you mean hand drag? Either way, it sounds like a misinterpretation or possibly the coolest thing ever.
 
not knowing david it was probably the gayest thing ever. hahahahaha. to hung over and impatient to ski weekends.
 
I was just going to do a hand drag over the top part of the lip, where it is flat after the takeoff, and then land on the backside of the takeoff before the deck starts.

It could have been cool, but I should have gone much slower. Another day.
 
Alpy was money this weekend, the snow report was all wrong, got freshies all day Escalator and then high traverse opened at 1pm, lines were pretty short.
